    This thing is fantastic. kzread.infoUgkx1McjgiqTNcTjrhvRvJWcrk5bzTeQW-Wn Easy to store in a bag in "screwdriver" position, not heavy but well built, and the location of the button makes it easy to screw or unscrew with one hand in either "gun" or "screwdriver" position. My only real complaint is there isn't a clip anywhere to store another bit, and the bit isn't a combo dual-ended bit either, so the flathead and P1/P0 philips bits we have to carry around invariably get misplaced.Note: Apparently Black + Decker changed this same Li2000 model from "Type 2" to "Type 3". This new "Type 3" appears to be slightly lighter, and the charging plug is now larger, with a little metal piece to keep it snug. I never noticed the "Type 2" version charger plug to not be perfectly snug, so not sure why this change was made - it does make it annoying that our shop now has 8 of these, and the new 3 have different charging plugs :/

It really shows also, when a tradesman shows up to a job completely organized with all packout you know you’re gonna get good quality craftsmanship! Will be interesting to see what you do with the new packout stuff with drawers! Awesome video and setup!

    True but sometimes you'll come across ones that will have a fancy hammer but no idea how to use it. I once knew a guy who had all the best tools, knew all the fking latin names of every material, could tell you which factory made which screw but couldn't hang a door to save his life.

    Ryobi's new LINK system is way cooler than this and easier to secure boxes together and even crates with no lids can be snapped in between boxes. It has a diamond pattern mounting system and a button release. I just own mostly DeWalt tools so it may look strange. Also the tools someone buys definitely is not reflective of the work you'll get. Milwaukee is actually less likely to result in good work because a lot of younger tradesman have hyped Milwaukee up and there's actually people out there who literally choose tools because of the color. I'd trust someone with DeWalt tools as they are usually used by skilled tradesman that have been working their whole life.

    @@onlyicedcrybaby7297 This is literally the dumbest comment. DeWalt and Milwaukee are literally at the same exact price point and offer the same exact sales at Home Depot. Milwaukee is by no means the more expensive brand and in a lot of cases is actually cheaper. I own Milwaukee hand tools and choose them for certain things, but prefer Dewalt power tools for the quick insert and release chuck sleeve on the impact drivers, the new DCF850 compact driver is a beast and the smallest impact driver in history, and the new powerstack batteries which blow Milwaukee out of the water as far as innovation in the industry. 5Ah power out of a battery smaller than the current 2Ah battery packs. Keep being a slave to brands though lol. If Milwaukee made a power tool good enough worth changing battery platforms for then I would switch. But powerstack + dewalts 2022 lineup it’s not even close.

    Have you seen the m12 3in brushless cordless cut off saw? It's definitely a tool you want to get. If not 2 of them there way lighter that angle grinders and can fit in area's that a angle grinder can't. I bought it for my custom fabrication business and it was a game changer for me especially when I'm doing a install in the field. If I made a mistake or see something I don't like it allows me to correct it without doing more damage to the area I'm working on. That really wasn't possible before with a angle grinder

    It looks like your driver side is a lot heavier than your passenger side, especially if you load plywood into the rack. It also looks like with those nails stored in the locked cabinet in the front of the box, you may also overload your front axle. Overloading will not only lead to premature failure of the overloaded axle, bearing, tire and other components on your truck, but also cause maneuverability issue when the truck is on the move.

  • @TannerConstruction

    @TannerConstruction

    3 жыл бұрын

    You are right about the driver side being substantially heavier than the passenger side, but usually when we are transporting the truck to a job site, the passenger side carries a cabinet saw and big dust collector which evens everything out. When we get around to adding the solar, it should be almost identical due to the added weight of the batteries being under the passenger side of the box.

    1st of all great set up.....I have many dewalt tools/accessories nd milwaukee tools/accessories. If you park in my neighborhood ill have just milwaukee tools/accessories/truck........LOL.....Just kidding definitely need locks, alarms nd cameras carrying all that...Good luck nd solar panels up top can run everything you have in back of truck and if u install a lil panel inside u can keep power from a sunny day and use on a cloudy day and u will still create power from panels on a cloudy day because the technology in todays panels are outstanding nd gettin better every year...GOOD LUCK AND A BEAUTIFUL BEAST OF A MILWAUKEE SYSTEM!!!

    Very nice setup! At a point it feels like you are just buying milwaukee because it says milwaukee on it. There is definitely a few stuff that is better than milwaukee and sometimes even cheaper that would still work perfect with the rest of your tool.

    Also, with cordless tools, while milwaukee may not always have the best tool in each category, you don't want to have multiple battery platforms and chargers from 2 or 3 different brands. Milwaukee makes one of, if not the largest cordless systems out there, and all of there tools are top quality that's not a question and there batteries are probably the best(and this is coming from a Dewalt guy) I'm drooling over this truck. Having tools that you can rely on and being able to cut the cord is awesome

    @@TannerConstruction The thing is I am looking for a large tall van or small handicap bus to fix up and do a working vacation. I am getting rid of everything I own except tools, two suitcases of clothes, my bicycle, camping gear, food and miscellaneous. Then I plan to travel this beautiful country while I still can.

    20 year ago I was a crane mechanic, and I dreamed I'd get myself a truck ready to go anywhere to do the job. But the 500K price tag was a bit overwhelming. If I was a builder, this truck would be how I'd set it up! When your paying for the tools for your work, you keep close ties to those income creating things! NICE RIG!!!!
