Finally a video where people put stuff in the drawers rather than waste everyone’s time showing empty drawers or a couple of screws in them
You are the only person on KZread that gave a good overview of the drawer capacity

Why thank you sir! I wanted to help cover the bases and capacity quickly with showing a ton of examples. With what does and doesn’t fit. I also did another pack out review on the other drawer system.

Fantastic review! Thank you so much for showing exactly what would work, and what wouldn’t in each drawer. This makes it so much easier to figure out the capabilities of each drawer, rather than just relying on measurements. New subscriber.

Wow, this guy has more Milwaukee tools than Home Depot.
The packout system is pretty addictive.

I can't beleive how much fits in the 3 drawer! I thought there was no way impact guns would fit in there. Yet it fits the massive big boy high torque! I don't even know why those belt hangers come installed. It's a waste of money on milwuakees behalf. The amount of construction workers wearing tool belt it like 10%. As soon as finish construction starts happening tool belts gotta go, they make you damage doorways, hall walls, stair walls, etc. Imo milwaukee should leave them separate in the box.
This mans did an 8 ball before this video and tbh I’m just as excited as him

Yeah man this is literally EXACTLY what we were looking for. 10/10
I use the three drawer for my plumbing fittings ( half inch pex and copper ) works amazing.
I've figured out the best use for me is as fitting bins. I was having trouble fitting my m18 tools in the bins without wasting tons of space. I am setting up a few different 3 drawer sets for pex, cpvc, copper and small diameter pvc. Great video!
What your looking for is literally what I need, this video is the best thing that could’ve happened
I was trying to decide between this and the 2 drawer. with this awesome overview i was able to decide. (I have the 2880 angle grinder and it needs to be kept nicely). thank you so much for this overview. very useful

Great review! You really get a good idea of what they hold by showing so many different things
Super helpful video to show what can fit in the drawers. Thanks for making this
“It’s really a tight fit” - indicative of how well designed and thought out these are. People complain about various things, but everything they engineer for a reason.
Best drawer review ever really helps with me choosing what packout drawer I want to buy
Very nice collection I think the ones with the drawers are the best I gotta grab a few for myself.
Thank you for that review... now I can get the three drawer since I know the m12 stuff fits... Great job sir!

I watched a video of a mobile forklift mechanic showing his fully working system. These boxes are game changers!
we know that Milwaukee has a socket and ratchet set/case, now they need to come out with one for their regular wrenches.
Yea, I also have 7 feet tall Milwaukee tool boxes , I do love the water proof, and the locking boxes, I put foam in some of the smaller ones and made kits out of them.

7 foot, lol. Thou hast gone too far sir. You're encroaching on fire code... Maybe your 8 feet tall? But I want to be able to not unstack my stacks as much as possible. Being able to see in them is part of that philosophy. Using drawers is also key. My stacks only reach 6 feet or so when moving them. On my dream stacks I'll only be taking 1 box off the top in most cases. Unless stairs are involved, or going in the vehicle.

@@brandonhoffman4712 I don’t take all of them with me at once, that’s how much I have totally, I usually just take what I need and that’s two or three along with the open milk crate container.
Great overview, I use the deep drawer for the bare drills and the shallow for the batteries, works out well.
It's one thing to have nice boxes, another to have them all full. A happy man has his full

Keeps your co workers from pinkling cokes! Not me though... I need 200lbs of boxes in my way to stop me, not 100!
This is why I love M12. I can fit 6 tools, batteries, and the charger in a very small tool box.
I really don't like the packout containers. My original complaint with the packout system is lets say you have a tool at the very bottom of the packout system. You have to basically remove all of the bins above it to access that bin. So far the 3 drawer and 2 drawer containers make the most sense because you can access the contents without removing them. I've been thinking of doing the cart instead of the rolling tool cart because the rolling tool cart forces you to use a large bottom bin that can only be accessed by removing everything above it. The cart at least lets you select every bin you want in your system. My goal is that any bin that only has access from the top is near the top and not the bottom.
@brandonhoffman4712
5 ай бұрын
Yes. Don't get the rolling tool bin. Get yourself the 4 dolly wheels, or a 4 wheel dolly and a mounting plate. The drawer systems are a godsend for these stacks. I'm stuck doing the box shuffle currently. It's one thing when it's festool stacks with specific tools, it's another when your razor knife, tape measure, and tape are in different boxes... I'm currently renovating my system to be a drawer system. My goal is to only need to take 1 box or bin off the top for access. I've got my shuffle down to at least mostly separating my stack when I get to work, then shuffling 1 smaller box around as I need access underneath. I also keep one of thier totes to put tools I use through the day to keep me organized. My dream system is 2 stacks both with a 2 drawer and 3 drawer, one xl box on top of one stack as a general box, one regular 6" box on top of that with marking stuff. The other stack I want to put a cabinet on top of the drawers (might become a pantry for making lunch) then an open bin on top of that. My rolling toolbox is slated to take the place of an old rolling box in storage that contains wood finishing stuff.
Greatly appreciate the demo.

I think you could fit a lot more batteries if they were laid on their sides. It looks like they would clear.

Great video. Now that I know that the wire bale hides away under the drawer unit, I want one.
Nice I have that 5 drawer toolbox mounted to my jeeps tire carrier and cargo area is packout.. I'm a mobile mech
Oh and great Idea to show room.
Nice setup... on my list now... but all you needed to do is take the batteries off the tools to fit ANY of them in the shallow drawers... you want to do that to avoid parasitic drain anyway. thanks for the vid. thumbs up...PS the drawers open easier if you lever the drawer or lid above with your thumb... decaf bro. I do wish they had a recessed handle on the top center for one-handed carry, though.
First thing that comes out of my milwaukee tools is the belt clip
That was helpful, thanks.
Lol not sure if I want them at all anymore after watching this video 🙃🙂
Do you like the two wheel hand cart? Some are saying it has to much plastic as well as tipping over due to the wheels being closer together. I'm trying to decide between the newer hand cart or the older one with the built in box at the base. Drawers on bottom means you have to unstack less but if it breaks easier then I'll go with the classic cart. Thoughts and opinions?
Great video bro thanks. 👍
Love the review thanks I now know which packout I need lmao 🤣 see what I did there I didn't say want I need for tools if you tell ur better half u need n not want then it's OK to get lmao 😜
How do they hold up to water/rain?
I would be putting sockets in the top drawer wrenches in the second drawer
Does a skill saw fit in the 2 drawer one
What is the clear height of the drawer interior? It looks like maybe a full 4 inches if you are on the rib.
Holy shit balls!!! I didn’t realize that the drawer lock slides in at the bottom! 😮😮
That is frustrating that their own M18 Fuel drill and driver don't fit in their drawer but just a little bit. I was going to buy this thing for that exact purpose. Maybe not. Thanks for the sweet overview of load out options.
@xmrpaintx1

Perhaps get the 2 drawer one instead? The drawers are taller and should easily fit the majority of m18 drills

Why don't they just sell a milwaukee shopping cart so you can sell your house for it and walk around homeless
@johngilson7085

Yes, the system is expensive, but I believe the only thing that compares is the Festool system which cost far more. There are ways to save money... I used an existing hand cart (Cosco 1000 lb from Harbor freight) combined with the Milwaukee packout mounting plate ($33) and made my own "packout" hand cart with more than double the weight capacity of the one offered by Milwaukee for $200. Since I already had the hand cart the cost to me was only $33 but the cart I used is $150 which still brings the total cost to less than the Milwaukee brand one and it's actually better than theirs and has more features. Another way to save lots of money is by 3D printing. Many people are 3D printing these days. For $200 or less it's well worth the investment for a printer. All the inserts (cups and dividers) are available for free to download and print at a massive cost savings over what is charged for them retail. What gets me is this....the people that are interested in systems like this are supposed to be DIY'ers right? Yet so many complain about the cost of everything instead of figuring some of the things out for themselves and saving money. That's what a DIYer does...it's the whole point of being a DIYer.

Makes my sad my new socket set won’t fit into my slide out case :/
They have attachments so that you could hang those drill guns on the side of the case
My Milwaukee 3 drawer packout also came in a plain cardboard box with no shipping label or packaging.
Where did you go to get that socket organizer ( 4:58 ) if you don’t mind me asking I tried looking for it & can’t find them. 😅
Seems to me the ideal solution would be to have a system like this constructed out of something very lightweight and durable like carbon fiber. however, the cost would be prohibitive.
Your harbor freight tool box is looking pretty good after this.
Does anyone really use the belt clip? I usually take them off. So i don't think that'll be a issue with the drills for most people.

if each is 50 lbs limit then what happens if i stack 3 on top of each other, that will be 150 lbs for the bottom one, will that hold up? since they have metal corner frames???
