Hey John! I'm 28 and live in the US, I've decided to quit my desk job and go into the trades (electrician) as I felt unfulfilled in my day to day. I recently built a chicken coop and have found happiness in building things. Love your channel and your reviews as they helped me make a decision to make the change to better my life.

Did the same myself Loving it
Thanks for the review! I'm very excited to set up my 20" bag and it's great to see how you did yours! Thank you!
I like the way you have segmented your video, and titled each segment. Much more efficient!
4:55 Keyhole Saw. Love all the names that tools get from coast to coast, and across the pond.
my small Stanley fat max level goes in the small zipper pocket. hacksaw blades in the big zipper pocket. Quick release impact bit holders on the D ring on the end. sds bits in the small pockets on the end.
Hey John, subscriber and fellow sparky from Australia here love the channel, it has a good vibe and you have a great attitude. Just yesterday I was doing some research into options to rehash my set up a bit and look at a new bag, mainly cause I can’t help myself and just have to play around with my tools, so this video was good timing. You’re spot on about the PPE and I hate rooting around looking for stuff as well. I was thinking In the front zip up pocket you could keep a pair of gloves.
Nice video. Love the channel. I tend to put my Sawzall blades in that long zipper part of the tote. Works perfect.
I use that skinny shallow pocket for sawzall blades. It works great for them as they’re right there and you don’t have to go rooting for them 👍🏼👍🏼
Hello John, A beautiful and useful bag. Thank you for the introduction and detailed information. See you. big greetings.
Mate what a brilliant video! I’m currently looking at replacing my old tool box with this 20” tote bag as I have some other packout stuff already! This video answered all the questions I had! Decent review, much appreciated 🙏🏼

Great review. As a plumber here in Virginia I've really enjoyed my new bag, although it is very easy to overload it due to all the space

That’s the same reason I switched to the 15" , perfect size IMO 👊🏼
Nice video. I would like to recommend the Toughbuilt Tote. Not sure if it is available where you are, but it is on an entirely different level from the Milwaukee. And if you can afford it, check out the Veto Pro Pac. Very pricey. The Toughbuilt and Veto Pro Pac are the type that you will hand down to your grand kids.
I have the same bag and I love it. The narrow zipper pockets I use to store sawzall blades multi tool blades and where you have your level strapped is where I strap up my sawzall. Awesome review!

Thanks for the tips!
i use the zipper bags for drill bits etc etc , i love it
Great video John i have started to use the Milwaukee drawers and have found them so much better then the boxes as you don't have to take the boxes off to get your stuff plus clean up is quicker.

Hello, Electrician from the states here. You sound like a proper gentleman, a far cry from thr average tradesman in the US Lol
Great video as always John, enjoyed most of your videos and your one on the the Milwaukee tool belt really helped me bite the built and get one Great channel keep up the good work 👍

Nice setup 👌 don't forget a small first aid kit in that PPE 👍
Great review! I have the 15" and love it. With the 15", you can put one of the half sized packout organizers on the bottom of it as well.

I use the same setup. Love my 15” tote. The half shallow box holds all the hardware to get 90% of handyman/ honey do list items.
The sleeve, the accent, the trade skills....this man just oozes cool doesn't he?
You could use the larger zip pocket for documents like schematics, plans, or wiring diagrams.
nice video, this has just sealed the deal the packout system was a great idea when i bought it but ye its going on ebay!
I use the small zipper pockets for things like pin nails, batteries for the laser level and extra pencil lead for my pica pencil. I find that the side with all the pockets almost has too many pockets, to the point you definitely couldn't use them all or they'd be overloaded. other than that, love this bag!

Great review 👍 good advice on the PPE, very easy to take a chance. When it is close to hand there is a better chance of using it.

Could that central zipper compartment be used to tuck 11" x 17" / ANSI B drawings, folded in half? Not sure if it's full depth or not.
I would only carry those m18 tools with small 2ah batteries on them. That tote can get really heavy if you're not clipped to the dolly
I seen folks put a pair of gloves set in the front zipper pocket just in there flat (and they have a bunch of lose nitrile gloves shoved in the bottom of that same pocket) and I do that in a similar bag I have.

Excellent very helpful video, many thanks, much appreciated.

Just looking after purchasing the same milwaukee bag as an upgrade from the same fatmax.
the skinny zipper is for sawzall blades i think.
Apprentice spark here, who has slightly fallen in love with Milwaukee and the Packout system - Apologies if this has been asked... How strong is it to lift a stack of boxes? In other words, if I were to click (for example) a tray of fixings and two power tool cases on the bottom and then pick the whole lot up (assuming, for argument's sake, that it's not too tall and that I can actually lift the weight), would that strain the bag? Feels wrong to be lifting that much weight on the bottom of a tool bag, but I would expect Milwaukee to have thought of that?
Thanks for a good assessment! I think the zip pockets are useful for documents such as certificatation forms etc - they are big enough for A4. Have you tried clipping the organisers on the tote back and then carrying the whole lot with the shoulder strap? Is this too much weight on one side of your body to be comfortable?

Good man John, great review as usual! What do you think of the Packout drawers? I think they could be great for drill bits and other not handled bits and pieces.

Where would you be keeping your shillelagh and your potatoes, now, John?
Looks well built and good quality, but personally I stay away from open top tote bags. You do have to watch out for the prices that some companies like to charge - very easy to get caught.
Quick question, why do you not like the cart for stairs? I used it on plenty of stairs and although it wasn't as easy as an elevator I thought to myself when I got up like "🤔damn, I already got all this stuff up here when it would have taken me multiple trips up and down the stairs to bring all this up." I mean how else would you get everything up anyways?

Typically if there’s more then two flights of steps they’ll have an elevator in here the US. I believe it’s code.

i hate those shaoolw pockets. as you say 'worse than useless'. if you put anything in there it will stick out and you cant close the pocket or get the drills out. my electrical tools are in a ck technitions bag. good bag but all the screwdrivers take up too much room and you cant close the sides peoperly. definetly looking at a better solution. probably end up with a veto bag or a dewalt toughstyem box like my other tools (if im going to suffer i may as well have a box that easily stacks with the rest)
do u work on building sites in ireland john ?
