Four months before I made this video, I made a comparison video. The Milwaukee M18 Inflator 2848-20 VS M18 Fuel Quiet Air Compressor 2840-20. Which Is Best For You? . In that video, both units aired up the same tire from 0 to 35psi. When I used the M18 Compressor, I had prefilled the air tank. People commented that I should have started with the tank empty for it to be a fair comparison. I take my viewers comments very seriously and decided to make a video answering their questions. In this video I do the same test but starting empty. I also show an accessory I picked up, and time how long it takes to fill the compressors reservoir. Which one is faster? Watch and see!
Let me know what you think and enjoy the video.
Here we go!
Stay tuned until the end of the video. I thank one of KZread viewers who left a comment in a previous video. It might be you.

You answered all my questions. Thank you! I’ve traveled with the m12 tire inflator for many years now, and while it’s done its job and gotten me off the highway to make more permanent repairs or fixes. It’s just too slow for pickup and trailer tires. I’ve recently purchased the 2 gal comp with high hopes that I won’t need it. It is reassuring that any time spent on the side of the road is minimal. It’s rare that it happens but having the correct tools when needed is crucial.

I have a large number of milwaukee tools m12 and m18 and mostly praise their products and swear by them. However neither of these products you showed or any milwaukee compressor, particularly the regular inflator have the ability to do low pressure as well. Before milwaukee came out with any of their compressors I went ahead and bought a royobi combo compressor and inflator with deflation which is great for air mattresses when camping. It has served me when and I just use my m18 batteries with an adapter to power it so keeping with the brand is not necessary due to batteries when a better option is available. Milwaukee has still not offered such a product which is sad. For the same reason I have a royobi hot glue gun which is a real convenience and a cool tool to have as well.

Awesome video. I have the inflator and that screw on end was my one thing I disliked because it's annoying. I'm definitely getting the adapter ordered right after this comment because being smarter but smooth and fast makes the job that much easier. Really nice comparison though that compressor is a handy tool for a lot of jobs . Those 12.0 are like $200 on Amazon vs $370 on the truck . I wish they would use a much higher grade battery and design a M18 18.0 a or 20.0 a UltraPlatinumSeries battery that's roughly the same size or just slightly bigger than the 12.0 for us long rough and tough hard workers with big jobs . More time working less time waiting on the charger to charge em up . Less time needing to use the charger as well.
