Thanks! I am doing alot of remodeling and just got a this tool door my growing collection. My late husband was great with wood work (I never needed to learn bc he just always did it himself). So I'm learning in my own.

great video. the oscillating motion would counter the work of the blade when it's a reverse cutting blade, like the one you use. only works with ''regular'' blades Try with a regular blade and put it in 3, then you'll see a huge improvement in cutting speed 👍

It slows you down because you have a down cutting blade. Put an up cut blade in your saw set it to 3 and you will see a big difference.

I’ve never even thought about down cut vs up cut. I need to do some homework!

You have the wrong size blade for scrolling work. Should be using the narrow blade for scroll work. Says it on the package. Them blades your using now is for straight cuts and nothing more
