The m18 is great for under car work. With the pivot head you can just lay it down on ground and pivot it to where you need it.

People I just picked up the M18 search light it's no comparison hands down a all around badass light I have many flashlights Milwaukee and streamlights this kills it. A little bulky but hey want to play with the big boys go big.

chaddavis781. I love my m18 search light. I wish i knew how long it would last with a m18 12.0 Ah battery. The 5.0Ah last for hours.

My M12 spotlight is one of my top go to lights light weight, great run time, rugged and really bright with some decent beam reach/range

M18 for sure. And where it's a Milwaukee , it will last the longest of anything like it. ( M12 spot as well.) Thanks

I'm still looking to buy a multi-tool kit but haven't decided which brand. If I was a pro I'd probably buy Bosch, but for just occasional home projects, I can't justify the expense. Probably an 18V set, w/two saws, mid-line.

Bosch is nice, but where I am Milwaukee and Dewalt rule the tool racks. Lowes carries bosch, the other stores don't that I know of other than maybe a tool dealer. My brother uses the milwaukee 18 volt and loves it, runs it on a regular basis for his job. I use the dewalt 12 volt and bosch 12 volt. For the smaller jobs they are great. I have always felt my bosch tools run(battery run time) just a little bit longer than my milwaukees do but milwaukee tools have more options available (at least by me) unless you go online and order them. Also milwaukee puts some good sales on around the holidays and if you keep an eye out you can get some great deals.

I was pretty happy with the last Milwaukee I had at work, it was greatly improved from it's predecessor. But still pro grade and cost, was thinking down a shelf to the Ryobe s and such, but not the shelf below, the Harbor Freight or other generic Chinese stuff. Best prices around Christmas?

yes, best prices I saw where around christmas. they had overstock on some of the 12 volt stuff at the home depots near me so I went to different stores to see what their deals where and what they had available. I got m12 drill and impact combos for around $70 and that included 2 batteries, a charger and a bag. Some of them were screw gun and impact but I bought them and then sold the screwguns. Took that money and put it towards a $90 m12 hammer drill. I like the light weight of the m12 line and the price points. Overall though if you are doing heavier work you need the 18 or 20 volt lines I'll keep an eye out around me and see if I see anything going on sale in the mid range and shoot you a message if I do. I've been thinking of looking into lowe's porter cable line, they have a whole bunch of stuff available also

Yeah, probably really don't need an 18 for the drill, but if buying a multi-tool package, the saws and such in a 12V package are too wimpy. And the newer Li 18V drills are quite a bit smaller and lighter than before.

These are good floodlights, but the Ridgid light canon is the best light on my opinion.
