    The cord allows you to put it in the front pocket if you're sitting. Most people in the cold are not going to be sitting, so the back makes more sense as the primary location for the battery.

    I’m also impressed with the tough shell jacket, but that does not mean the hoodies sucks. For what it, is it is actually very nice, and I am really enjoying mine. I got the hoodie kit at international tool last winter for around $100. I would not pay full price for it but if you find a good deal it is worth it. Especially if you do not have the $200 for the tough shell jacket.

    It's a great jacket! I've had mine for a few years now. If you are working outside, slap in a 6amp battery and your good! I'm currently testing how long you get with 6amp on high and so far I'm 90 minutes in and it's only down 1 dot (using a waitley knock off battery). Didn't get more than 2 hours with the 2 amp and was annoying having to change out the battery so often.

    Great video as always Dave. I agree this jacket is amazing, living in Wisconsin I HIGHLY recommend as well. Heavy as a winter coat on top of being heated. This jacket hands down beats your everyday northface on top of being higher quality for a lower price compared. About the hoodie, considering how heavy this jacket is, I think Milwaukee wanted to make a lighter weight jacket for people living in warmer climates that still want a heated jacket. Not everyone lives in northern states like us lol. Also, I think they put the battery in back as to not get in the way of the normal pockets and so it sticks out as little as possible. You like guns, Dave, how many people carry small of back? It’s a common spot bc it’s out of the way and concealable, you can even small of back carry with this coat on if you’re right handed.

    Do your pocket warmers get as warm as the back warmer? Wondering if I need to exchange for a different jacket. Admittedly I’m a baby when it comes to my hands getting cold. The current jacket I have, the pocket warmers are almost useless in 40*F weather. Is this your experience or do you feel like the pockets on your jacket get just as warm as the back?

    You actually don't need this because you already have this build in to your body called muscles and when you combine a coat and work you get entropy. The summer his a different story and you I would definitely recommend a magic vest because your ability to compensate for cold is better than your ability to compensate for hot as a mammal. The only reason I would use heated vest is for camping because I would be asleep and not creating significant heat energy.

    @@ManCaverTools thanks for the reply. Do you have a link? I’ve only seen the jacket kit for $200. I believe you said you got it for $160? That’s $40 I can put in the savings. I currently got the ororo jacket, would you recommend the Milwaukee over the ororo?

    Is there a difference between the standard m12 3.0 battery and the m12 3.0 CP battery?

  • @johnargumaniz9179

    @johnargumaniz9179

    It’s the size only. 3.0 amps is 3.0 amps. One would want the non cp because it has the bigger base like the 4&6 but obviously the cp would be better suited for tighter spots

    John Argumaniz I didn’t know if one was better for higher drain like a saw and one was better for slow drain like a rotary tool.

    Compact has three high capacity batteries and the other has 6 low capacity batteries but bc of having more, has a higher output of power bc it has double the cells to evenly pull power from. The bigger batteries will give your tool more power if it’s fuel/ brushless but that’s also a downside bc they are bigger.

    rebellaxbro Thanks I have some xc 3.0. They fit in my heated coat but unfortunately. They seem run in the coat way longer than the 2.0. Almost twice as long. I was wondering if the CP 3.0 would do the trick.
