Keeping mine, it saved my bacon today on a KW T-2000. Removing bolts out of the frame rail, looks like it had been years since anyone touched these bolts holding a bracket on. My little Milwaukee 3/8" Stubby would not budge these 24mm bolts. So, I unboxed this little 1/2" beast. Sure enough, it was just small enough to get into the space and removed those bolts like a hot knife rolling through a slab of butter. It's a keeper!

I have a Milwaukee mid torque i bought in 2018. Works good. Only on one truck. I couldn’t get the lugs off. It was a truck the tire shop used an impact on. I got it off with a breaker bar and 4 ft pipe. And that breaker bar was forcing. Crazy tight. I also used mine for front end work.

That's ridiculous. I have to watch them every time I take a car somewhere if the tire is coming off. I have had similar circumstances. I had one 3 or 4 years ago where I had a 30" breaker bar on it and I had to jump (with my 215 pounds) on the bar to break the nuts loose. Mine works good too. Has always done the job for me. Good hearing from you Danny. If you are not already subscribed I would really appreciate it if you would help me out by hitting that subscribe button. Really appreciate it sir.

I don't believe any of the cordless tools live up to their claims of lb/ft of torque. Although, using a deep socket and a 6" extension does drastically reduce the torque output of the tool.

The Milwaukee tool lives up to the rating. He is using a 6" extension which lessens the power. Check out some other videos on this impact wrench and you will see the difference.

I’ve seen this tool remove a nut torqued to 650 foot pounds. The battery makes a huge difference in power. Milwaukee tools always work better with the cp batteries because they use 21700 cells as opposed to the 18650 cells in the xc batteries.

I recently started learning about this myself. I just got the gen 4 hammer drill kit that comes with the impact driver. A few days later, the band impact wrench was in the daily specials with a battery and charger for $199. To me, the 5 amp xc battery is heavy because I don’t have big hands or wrists. Someone pointed out that they have the two pack of cp 3 amp batteries on sale for $99, and those have 21700 cells. I’m going to return the “fee” tool that I got with the gen 4 kit because it wasn’t really free, if you know what I mean. I’m going to use the refund to buy the cp batteries.

@@DadsGarageDIY Someone just told me that the cp 3.0 provides about the same power as the xc 5.0. Apparently Milwaukee tools do the best with high output 6.0 batteries. However, I feel that the power to weight ratio still makes the cp 3.0 a great choice, since it’s a bit lighter than the xc.

You don't want to use an extension on it. Next you are at a tire shop, you never seen someone use an extension. You were too quick on those lower setting to break it loose, try longer. You have the same expectations as a pneumatic tool, it wont be as quick... pneumatic tools are way more powerful.

Talking about tire shops, they were impressed with my 1/2" M18 high torque as I used it to remove nuts when we changed to winter tires on my old rig. They told me they lug around air tools in their service truck and wished they could get a battery gun. So I would be careful to point to the tire shops as an authority. Alot of them use old tech out of whatever the reason.
