Wow, an electric chainsaw review by someone who actually knows how to cut wood. That saw seems to cut very well. Thank you!

One positive feature of the Ryobi 40V top-handle (similar to the M18) is that the scrench is behind the battery. So it can't fall out while you are cutting, and you can't work on the chain while the tool is active. I got the Ryobi for $150 'Murican, while the M18 is going for closer to $350 tool-only.

Not sure if they changed it but early reviews I saw on this saw they said couldn’t move chain freely without resistance on the motor, which would be difficult if the chain got pinched on a bit cut. But definitely seems impressive power for 18 volt saw. But seems a little heavy. Especially if you put on a 12ah. I recently got some bl4040f for my xgt top handle. Great fast chain speed and no doubt I lot lighter than Milwaukee but definitely seems like Milwaukee got the power. Milwaukee new top handle chain saw mower and chemical sprayers seems very good.

cool video as always. But is it better than the 40V Makita? As much of a Makita fanboy I am, but I like the housing around the battery on the Milwaukee. You just cant do that with the Makita batteries if you wanna get them out with one hand

I continue to be amazed by the amount of trees, etc. that you seem to have in the backyard that can be sacrificed for pruners, saws, etc. I understand the parrot feeding and bamboo control requirements, but the general trees must be worried every time you step out the back door.

finally someone give this 2826 saw the fuckin review it deserves. It’s my go to saw for limbing bucking and not meant to fell any trees of any size but it’ll definitely do most small to even medium sized trees but it easily excels at doing everything a farmer, or someone who has a bit of property or fence line or trails to maintain it’s great but ime the best use case, which I don’t believe you got to address as you didn’t have a tree you needed to drop atm or at least on camera and I’m not busting your balls as it’s hard to squeeze everything into a short video but these saws imo are game changing for bucking fell trees etc but a gas saw you have to start and stop your saw a fair bit and in that situation this saw is really worth having..I’ve been hard on this saw for 6months now and it’s taken it in stride and has proven itself to be a true workhorse even up against an ms194 or ms201 in a single cut race it’ll hang with the best of em man but I will say myself as well as others (search Milwaukee chainsaw battery killer) others have noticed it as well so use only HO batteries under warranty cuz I’ve killed two 8.0ah batteries idk what it is about those in particular (probably different cells etc) but they will essentially fry the battery management system just from pulling too much current imo that’s happened to two packs and if you have a spot welder you can replace it and they will work again the packs will still read 18 to 20 v the banks of cells are all balanced but it won’t charge (usually thats indicative of a failed BMs) great video tho man much love from The flyover states

that's have higher rpm than makita (at least 2x 18v), probably safety thing on makita. as usual, red stuff is tuned to max, which kills motors and batteries quicker (can be clary seen/heard how much stress ypu can put on the motor before power cuf off kicks in. that wont last long, if doing some heavy work, imo.. but i do really hope your main focus stays on makita line and dont sold out (as many channels sadly do), there's lot enough red cowboy evangelists out there already.

I watched a good amount of reviews on this saw as it has peaked my interest but the one thing I haven’t seen talked about is the trigger. Is it variable speed or is it like the hedge trimmer and it’s full speed once activated.

If been watching a lot of tool repair videos recently and it’s really put me off Milwaukee. they are not built to be repaired but warranty returned and thrown away. essentially built really badly. I don’t really like that disposable way of building things. but each to their own.

Milwaukee are the hot rods, muscle cars, and monster trucks of the tool world; loud, powerful, rattling and rumbking but boow themselves apart and needing constant maintenance if really pushed to the limit. Dont get anywhere close to the limit and occasional use and they seem impressive, but all day, day in dau out with one tool doong a constanclt task and not switching between tools throughout the day they fail too quick.
