There are people who attended this school, but are NEVER proud of being Old Miltonians due to unfair treatment they got during these war cries. Only those who attended Milton from Form 1 are proud of this school. Those who joined later (especially at Lower 6) will ALWAYS tell a different story. You'll always be treated as an inferior and useless outsider.

It's not the same as it used to be back then...this was the one of the greatest moments in school, the war cry.I remember we used to bunk lessons in the morning just to rehearse the songs in the common room we was going to sing during the war cry which happened some moments after break. It's a shame that most students didn't know the school hymn and the war cry.On the outset though,it's good that the tradition is still on going. Forget it. You can't have a great vibe when you subject a majority of children to tribal domination and coerce them to sing in a foreign tongue. The lethargy is symptomatic of protest. Is this how bad things have turned Mthwakazi? Milton high? Really?

Cringeworthy and sad. This is more like recorded bullying. Nothing at all Miltonian about the conduct especially of the videographer who sounds like he's high on something. And the boys look forced and reluctant with some hiding from the camera. Compare with Harare schools war cry and see the difference. Cry the beloved Milton. Lafa elihle
