Awesome video. I would love to see an in depth video on your box/faceframe system. Thinking about getting a lamello zeta and would love to be able to use the same technique.

If you're a millworker you would find the new Festool products interesting like I did..
I think I missed the decision about the arch ways. With those made on site? Do they also have molding? It seems like flexible molding might be needed in some cases.
I'm truly in amazed and jealous of your craftsmen who care about every little detail. I'm accustomed to subs and tradesmen who are convicts, thieves, and drug attics who have no skill and could care less about doing a decent, let alone good job. Maybe it's a new England thing that the customers demand more and the builders could easily have been surgeons instead of carpenters.
Do you guys like festool?

What was the red thing on the ceiling with the numbers? Looked like it was around a smoke detector, but I've never seen that before.

I'm curious if it was ever mentioned roughly how much a house build of this caliber costs?

We haven’t mentioned it. Why do you ask?

@@NSBuilders because I'm curious! I watch a lot of your videos and it makes it difficult for me to trust random contractors when I see all the effort that goes into doing things well. Maybe a better version of the question is how much more as a percentage does it cost to be this thorough vs a standard build? Like is it 50% more, double, triple, etc. I'm not at the point in my life where a custom house is a near possibility, but I can see us wanting to go that direction in the future and wanted to calibrate my expectations.

I must say this interests me as well. You often see builds of this size on prestigious lots in Oakville ontario, just outside of Toronto. I've worked in a lot of the houses that are owned by multi millionaires and sometimes billionaires but ive never really seen the attention to detail or craftsmanship that I see in these videos. I more often see craftsmanship of this level in older areas in century homes whereas even the richest of the rich seem to be opting for "sleeker" finishing. I've flipped homes since I was 19 and have always lived in century homes myself and have never bought anything under 90 years old. I appreciate the craftsmanship and then modernize the lacking elements myself. But this shit is on a whole other level. I've never been interested in new builds til I found this channel and hope to one day employ someone like yourself to build my home.
