@@woowah32, possibly a childish comment, I accept. Exuberance of youth, and all that🤷‍♂️ But still, even to this day, I've not seen home fans get bullied like QPR did on that day. Very much deserved, too! Especially the fans ro the left of us, who were still throwing various objects at us (after the final whistle), when another group of ours had gained entry to that stand, and reciprocate their kindness👀

Got home from tonights match.The police made a mistake letting the millwall fans out with the Rangers supporters.minor trouble but the vast majority of fans want to see football and a few idiots ruined it for everyone else.

Cos we never felt the need to take that many to most northern places mate. Ask Man City what they thought of us the day we turned up there en masse and ask Man United lads what they thought of the same mob when they tried to get off at Stockport station on their way to Forest in the morning. We could say the same about northern teams coming to Millwall. Thousands go to Bournemouth and Brighton for a piss up, but give Millwall a swerve, ask yourself why. Infact ask yourself why you are commenting on Millwall in the first place. Better to be talked about than ignored.

@@martinj1933 Manchester, that was like twenty years ago. It isn't a criticism, the point is the 500 you take up North get behind the team and help create a good atmosphere, just imagine taking up a full allocation of 3,000 plus. Out of the all the Championship teams recently, I think it was only Leeds (before prem) that used to sell out their away allocation, including The Den. When Prem club were drawn in the cup, like Everton they sold out their tickets. It would be incredible if Millwall had a massive following, these passionate old school fans are hard to come by. Seven points of play off with 11 to play, good luck for the rest of the season. BTW. I watch and comment on a variety of clubs, not just Millwall. Do they still bang out London Calling pre-match?

@@kbeesmot9928 Got ya. I was in rant mode mate sorry, QPR and teams like that do it to me, like a Yorkshire terrier, all bark no bite. Unfortunately we are a small club but I do believe there was a study done back in the 80s that said our away support was comparable to Man Uniteds, taking into account the home attendances etc. Still, all good, we had fun and that was all that mattered ;) as for London Calling, not sure mate, I live in Manila these days.

I live and work in London why the fuck would I want to visit any northern city. Its not worth the hassle getting all those jabs to prevent me getting diseases like if I was going to some third world shit hole also I'm not into kiddy fiddling so there's nothing for me oop North but filth and ignorance

Hmmm, what to say?? Well it is a free country so I guess fans like some of Millwall's are entitled to seek out scraps and intimidate people, I suspect it has more to do with their innate powerlessness as individuals that makes them seek strength in their tribe. And no I would fancy a scrap, I'd rather watch a good game of football and have a bit of banter with the opposition. The former was achieved that night the latter sadly was not.
