That was very cool! Hats off to you for even climbing to that instrument. Once was plenty enough for me. You really make that sing!

FYI A carillon is a pitched percussion instrument that is played with a keyboard and consists of at least 23 bells. The bells are cast in bronze, hung in fixed suspension, and tuned in chromatic order so that they can be sounded harmoniously together. Wikipedia

This was absolutely beautiful!!! I love everything about it. It's so striking to me how quickly those bells can be rung and you just make it look so effortless with the way you rhythmically drag/pound your fingers, palms and forearms so precisely across the 'keys'. Thank you so much for sharing!

There used to be an interval signal on a European radio station on MW waveband that was played on a carillon. I loved the sound of it.

Bravo! what an awsome piece. I miss hearing a carillon and your playing is brilliant; the divinity school I attended in Evanston IL (which is now a part of Northwestern U) the bell tower has a carillon. It was playedmost days during the week at 4:45 pm before we assembled for Evensong in the chapel.

Sounds like the score to a scene from a horror flick. "The Dance of the Three Lame Vampires."
