In all seriousness I think JC deserves the #1 spot because the beats were both bad, but he was a pro player, the commerce was a bigger tournament and he lost out on potential endorsements costing him a lot more than me. RIP to Mike who was a true gentleman to me and one of the most sincere people I have met.

that # 10 is pretty much my weekly experience at the local Legion poker tournaments. I honestly thought that that 9 was going to come out on the river for Lawson against Vanessa Russo. Damn, that would have been brutal. lol

I can't believe Phil Hellmuth was talking about him wasting time. I remember watching the big game and Phil was wasting so much time just to fold

Phil is just giving everyone at the table a chance to realize how amazing he is.

good old wpt show, I missed these days when I was learning poker and falling in love with that game. Now the game is kind of "solved", more geeky and way less entertaining to play and watch.

Man, I really miss the voice of poker. The game will never be the same without him 😪

@@olegp5421 No, it was not a bad beat. As @Justin Avne said, it's when the money goes in that counts. Nowhere near a bad beat. Even if a small pocket pair hit a set to beat an overpair it's still 80:20 or 4:1 so hardly counts as a top ten bad beat (although that WOULD be a bad beat, at least). Vanessa was 4:1 pre-flop, all the money went in, both hit sets, Vanessa held. Simple story and no bad beat.

these hands are my normal life on PokerStars....

THE 2nd clip with the guy with the A10 vs the A8 was sick. the A10 dude knew he was done once he saw the other guys A8 hand PREFLOP!!!!! THATS SICK! he reminds me of me. my gut always tells me before hand how well i will fare, and it usually comes true. doesnt matter if i have a good hand preflop or not, when i know i will win , i win, when i get that feeling i will lose, i lose.

At 21:50 how can the players not hear the commentary?? Mike and that other guy are sitting like 5 feet behind them.

Some of these bad beats are actually normal for me. Pretty much get some of these beats on a daily basis.

Probability of running 2 (out of 3) consecutive sevens on the turn and river is approximately 0,003

Allen Kessler is a classic example of a person who absolutely should not be playing poker for a living. It doesn’t matter how good you are, you must, above all things have the correct mindset because that is what creates your luck in victory or defeat. If you are constantly fearing defeat like Bellande or Kessler then you always get outdrawn. It’s a science we can’t see so it’s rarely understood so it’s put simply down to bad luck but it happens so often to the same people. It’s energy! We create our luck and if we’re not naturally lucky or feel so, then we shouldn’t gamble for a living!

Basically pronounced either way when not worried about the true accent. It makes the "w" sound with Ngu
