judging from the responses i'm getting from my comment, i'm taking it as if people aren't understanding the point i was trying to make. i was responding to austin rice in particular. making those payments for 50 or 100 weeks is not plausible. becasue of interest, it can turn to 52 weeks or 104 weeks of repayment. is all. so it'll make more sense to pay 200 + interest for 50 weeks to actually be done in 50 weeks.

I laughed when he is talking about buying a $5 candle that people think is a $30 candle when we KNOW if we got a candle from Graham that he would have bought it for as little money as possible so we'd assume it was 99c. You can do that, when you have square footage area. If your sqaure footage area is low, then the only thing you can do to compensate is to go vertical. In this case, I'd say the vertical locking table in this small space is a good investment. Otherwise, yes, you could move the chairs and put them on the table.

  • @RichardDavisHackingLife

Nexus Yang If that’s the problem, why not slide them under the table? They definitely can fit and I’m pretty sure Graham noticed the same. But if it’s so you can clean under easier, which is why I assume why Graham said what he did, just move them. Edit: and at 7:54 you can even see she has them like that. In the end with a 400 sq place, there is no room for anything. I live in the South Bay / Torrance area and pays what she pays for a 2 bedroom about a 30min drive from DTLA. Having lived in LA for 20 years and worked in the garment industry I would never live down there. LA is not NYC so far as inner-city living goes.

How are you spending $100 per week on noodles. 4 pound of noodles should easily last you 2 to 3 weeks in a good well balanced diet. You could easily get by on $20 per week on healthy foods. That will mean no eating out and eating only basic foods that can be combined to form dishes. What you mean is that you are eating foods in a non efficient way for $100 per week. And there is nothing wrong with that if you can afford it. A basic structure for a diet would be porridge, one tin of tuna/other fish, frozen fish. Rice, Pasta, frozen vegetables, fruit. @@andriod8014 It is sad. The most they do in school (atleast GA schools) is make Economics a mandatory class to take and pass senior year, and I remember most of my classmates and people in general at my school, struggling with it. To this day, I still don't understand how all of these people would brag about money, making it, and having pricey clothes but when it came to actually learning about it, you couldn't help but look at em and feel sorry for the poor suckers. I remember people would constantly be trying to cheat off of me whenever a quiz or test came up because I had an A and was passing with flying colors. It got to the point where my teacher found it easier to make me take my test outside because she caught wind of the multiple people trying to cheat off of me every exam. If they struggle with their finances the way they did with Econ, alot of my former classmates are doomed to hell.

This series is making me feel better about my (poor and good) financial choices. I definitely have spent too much in going out, and gym memberships but always made my loan payment and put more towards it. Even when I put myself through grad school for two years I continued to put money into the loan payments. I lost all my savings for grad school (which I planned for). Now I am rebuilding my savings but my student loans are paid off 4 years early. I know the allure of trying to keep up with fashion but its not necessary. Buy good qualiy staples that will last you, a few trend pieces but not that many! She could probably sell her designer pieces on second hand sites and pay off her student loans and start investing! He is making an assumption that she is debt disciplined but with her extra purchasing power through credit that could all go out the window really quickly. imagine she is out and see's that channel bag and has the credit and a little bit of cash to in hand to use as well. Next she knows there is a $5000 credit card debt that will take years to pay of for a few moments of madness.

  • @Hachiiiiiii

bighand69 I agree. I was like that around her age, and having a higher limit to my purchases really put me into debt. She impulse buys a lot of stuff from the fancier stores (ex. Urban Outfitters) and opts to eating out versus cooking at home. I get that she works, but it’s not hard to do practice prep cooking and eat at home to save time/money. Her student loans aren’t going to go away if she keeps focusing on her credit card alone, and it’ll suck trying to pay that off too.
