Million Dollar Winner montage - Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? - US

All million dollar winners included from all editions in the US (Primetime, Syndicated, Super, Tournament of Ten).
Note: I made this video many years back when I was in my late teens, and have not gotten any money from the creation of this video. I make completely different videos now pertaining to the game show Jeopardy!, so if that still interests you, stick around!

Actually 11 years since it was won
The people who made this roller coaster are definitely under fire!!!
Sam Murray, the final $1,000,000 winner of the original version of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire.
10:16 Look at him when he sees the question and thinks "Please let Sikorsky be an answer"
Bob-O was the best one on the show. John Carpenter was another great person to be on the show! I love all these clips! Sam Murray was the best one of all. I was shocked how he got the answer right!!!

@@goj-bh1cm I haven’t seen him yet I’m watching it on KZread TV and I’m about to see Bob House’s win. I’ll get to David eventually. Did he really ask for a Google search? I heard that there was a contestant named Steve Perry whose friend tried to look up the answer but didn’t look it up in time and he won $500,000 instead of the million.

@@goj-bh1cm high-speed internet wasn't even a thing in the early 2000s, wtf are you on about?
That Olmsted knew the answer the moment he catch his breath, that was a nail bitter on this.
In my country, only one person took the grand prize, and before checking the final answer, they showed commercials twice and prolonged the moment as much as possible... here it's just 'final answer,' 'correct! You've won a million dollars!'
What's crazy is that there has only been one winner since Sam Murray's. Celebrity chef David Chang won it in November 2020.

Still remember seeing Johns as it was first broadcast as a kid. Loved watching WWTBAM when i was a kid as random facts and knowledge is kind of my thing. I even went through one of the 500k winner’s questions and got every one right.
Those legendary winners are winners!
It's too bad the first guy didn't hold the record of becoming a millionaire without using any lifelines simply because he wanted to flex.

Ehh, Regis didn't count it on his official tally so we shouldn't either. John Carpenter didn't need it anyway.

He didn't actually make a question, so it doesn't count.
I'm sorry, but 19:32 got me in tears.
Wow. What a cool way to use your phone a friend lifeline on the million dollar question. Mad respect for John Carpenter.
This is one of my favorite game shows! 😀
0:04 All of John Carpenter's questions, were the *ONLY* time that I knew the answer to ALL of the questions asked.
It's a damn shame I got most of these right and never made a dime on it lol
This video makes me so happy!
