Love love love Ms Millie one in a million Scott. Amazing sultry silky smooth voice!!! I remember when I was touring with Cherelle and Alexander O’Neil in the late 90’s and she was a background vocalist. I was always so amazed at how beautiful her voice was in live and in person so smooth clear clean and sharp and soothing!!! As Patti LaBelle would say. “The Woman can sing her face off!!! And Top it off She is just a beautiful person period. A real Sweetheart💖 I remember loving this song growing up and dancing and singing to it. Never imagined I would be on stage performing with the likes of her. What an incredible experience!!!🎶💖✨

If some she can comes back to play that song on stage it would be very great,the song is one of my favourite jame,for real though.Sadly and sorrowly she never had the recognation she deserves.I think some rappers should at least make a cover of this song and inviting her as a featuring on this joint.I remember i was sleeping with my radio on all night and heard this song,.I'm glad to be among of plenty music funk lovers

Love Millie Scott. every time I listen to this it always sounds as though it was recorded for the years ahead as it dose not sound dated at all and still sounds as good as when it was released back in the middle to late eighties. baseline sound very similar to a UK soul duo of around about the time called Total Contrast. they did a track called what you gonna do about it. very similar groove.

Glad to see this has 40,000 well-deserved hits. One of the most crystalline and classiest tunes of '80s R&B. I belonged to the club D.J.s who used to spin this. Interesting to see a smooth-jazz contingent telling their story, too. It makes sense today. Love ya, Mildred!

I have this one in my collection, 85-87 had the best soul and rnb tunes, really you could dance for hours and not get tired. I am not really missing this sound because I have plenty in my private collection but I pity those that have to bear with all the gangsta sh** they feeding us today!! I want soul back on the airwaves, let's start boycott gangsta and any artist who is named lil' this or lil' that!!
