Lyrics:
Girl You Know It's True
Girl I'm Gonna Miss You
I knew it from the start
You would break my heart
But still I had to play this painful part
You wrapped me 'round your little bitty finger
With your magic smile
You kept me hangin' on your lovers cross awhile
You put a spell on me
You took my breath away
But there was nothing I could do
To make you stay
I'm gonna miss you
All the love I feel for you
Nothing could make me change
My point of view
Oh girl, I'm gonna miss ya baby
Given all the love I feel for you
Couldn't make you change your point of view
You're leaving
Now I'm sitting here wasting my time
I just don't know what I should do

To me you remain the real milli Vanilli. We fell in love not only with the voices behind the scene but also with these cute guys. They were beautiful, got stage presence and could lip sing perfectly. They deserve to be praised. Whatever came out till date, still didn't change a thing to me. I love them. I still have the same effect in 2024. Masterpiece.

I love how people still blame them when the studio made all of these decisions. R.I.P. Rob, I’m sorry for how you were treated because no one wants to really look at what happened.
My best friend and I were so crazy about them when we were teenagers :-) now I'm 50 and she died last week, monday I'm going to bury her, this morning out of nowhere this song started to play in my head, so therefor I came here

The documentary kiickstarted me to search for everything around them. I remember so well sitting in my parents flat, mtv all days and milli vanilli came up all the time. Especially remember this one and blame it on the rain. These guys were burnt into my retina and their special style. I'm a guy, yet still I think they were the most good looking and cool. @@Mo-Reese8043 It sure did mess him up. I think Rob suffered a lot of guilt. You can see it in his face sometimes. He didn't like doing it. Notice as time went on he was getting really thin and tired easily in live performances. The start of drink and drugs I suppose. Too bad, Rob was a gorgeous man. In the song "Baby, don't lose my number" he looked absolutely perfect and healthy, but the guilt showed - it always did. RIP.

@johnnegrete9329 I had never heard a Mille Vanille song, but I did hear about Mille Vanille. I was born in 1960, and I suppose I wasn't interested in learning about who they were. It was only through happenstance that I caught a video of a podcaster interviewing Fab. I decided to search for a Mille Vanille song after watching the podcast, and I came across this lovely song. Cheers!

Rob Pilatus, unikátně nádherný muž 💜🤎💛🧡💚💙😰
They were icons of their time, and without their unique look as a group I doubt the songs would have got anywhere near as popular. Just look at some of the artists today that produce chappy tunes but people still purchase them because of who they are. Sad with the passing of John, but he was proud if his contribution to the group. Marketing at its finest.

The songs were catchy but if the guys who sang them behind the scenes were presented as the singers the audience would of shit on it, so. It was smart to have hired Rob and fab as the front as they had thst it factor. The only thing is this stuff remains classic but garbage from people like Lil pump will be forgotten as fast as it was popular.

O visual a performance, a alegria a danca o carisma.. Nada disso foi de mentira!! Alias a voz era algo secundario!! ... foram 2 meninos sonhadores e ambiciosos manipulados por macaco velho. E algo ficou tao grande q uma hora sairia do controle!! Rip ROB❤
It's 2016 and I am listening to Milli Vanilli unironically. Because fake bands from the '80s and early '90s are better than the real ones today.

@@brendadrumm9708 Lololol. He was very handsome. I say the same thing about death in general sometimes. It seems like all the hateful people are left here to give us hell while the sweetest people leave us early. I know we don't know the time nor the place but the evil doers being left here makes the world in my opinion a bad place. Use to be so much brighter ♥️
The performance was acted so well, not even artists can lip sync their owns songs so perfect as the Milli Vanilli Duo did. The voices fitted so well we all believed it. I wished the truth was never revealed. This is part of my youth, part of my life and these two guys are always Milli Vanilli to me.

🎯. Real vocals or not. Fab and Rob had swag. When we all were calling it style. They were ahead of their time.
I've heard of this song and this band when I was a kid but I never knew that they were them. Now, i'm rediscovering their songs. Off to the next.
What a beautiful time in my life and the amazing memories this song gives me. It's food for my soul! Still listening in 2022!
