as a millenial, I feel always really good and young when I make friends with GenZ, or just understand what they are saying, but I often forgot that there is whole new generation of people, I have no idea what are they talking about and to them, I am probably just cringy old lady
i'm in this awkward middle spot where i don't really connect with either generation, but i use both of the slang 😂

@@dontburstmybubble686 they think it’s funny too my dad tells these stories from his childhood about what his mom used to do to him and LAUGH while telling it weather it’s a coping mechanism or they think it makes them “stronger” it’s not okay and I wish a lot of them would go to therapy for this I have a theory that this is also kinda way a lot of Gen z ignores their own personal problems and instead of getting help we make jokes about it on the internet and joke about our trauma also being somewhat numb to things that go on around us someone could literally say “I wanna Kms” some mf would reply with “Lowkey same lol” we literally got this attitude from our Gen x parents LOL their “don’t care anymore” attitude either rubbed off on us or they raised us with that mindset and they wonder why some of us are the way we are I’m mostly mad at the boomers for this because these mfs really screwed over EVERYONE💀

@@Isabel-sr8ep nah fr. The "stronger" attitude is really fucking toxic. I know split is a terrible representation of the DID community but I think the "Beast" is the extreme of Gen X mentality. This idea that trauma makes you better than everyone else and that you need to inflict trauma to make others stronger. It's ass. It's wild too because Gen X parents CLEARLY want to love their children and a lot of them will SAY they want to be "better than their boomer parents" but the bar is so fucking low that so many gen Z are going into life with the class systems being divided into "being able to drive because your parents wanted you to be independent" and "not being able to drive at all because your parents didn't bother teaching you and now you can't get a good job without selling your soul to Uber" and that second one is STILL better than how Boomer parents were. Mf SILENT GEN HELPED OUT WITH RAISING GRANDKIDS! HELL MY SILENT GEN GREAT GRANDPARENTS HELPED RAISE ME MORE THAN MY GRANDPARENTS! It's fucking wild.
And i thought there was going to be a "ASHLEY, Talk to me" 😂
