The Callan family are managing 530 cows on a grass based system with eight Lely robots over two units. Since converting their two farms from a 30 unit and 20 unit parlours to a five and three robot systems the Callan Family have reduced the labour requirement on their dairy business by two labour units and increased milk solid production by 100 kgs per cow.
