Amazing German military-industrial designs of some 70 years ago that still look so intimidating today! Kudos!

I've often wondered if the German equipment just looked naturally sinister and intimidating or if the legacy the Germans left behind makes them that way. I suspect the history adds to it.

it's a 251/7 Combat Engineer transport, those additional curved bits on the top are a mobile bridge, and it was usually fitted with a Panzerbuchse 41 in place of the MG42.

@@richardcore I could have bet all but one of them were built in Czechoslovakia after the war. The passenger compartment has a different shape so the back plate stretches all the way up without the top fold. Still, they would be like 95% the same as the German original. This makes me wonder if the Hetzer may also be a post war build? Please correct me if I'm wrong here. The Stug III looks very genuine though.

@@rasmuswittsell10 The Hetzer in this video is one owned (he maybe sold it in the meantime) by Bruce Crompton. Info: It was knocked out on April 13th 1945 by the 7th Btn, Hampshire Rgt. during the battle for the town of Cloppenburg (near Bremen), with a direct hit from an anti-tank gun on the left side, near the front (probably killing the driver). The shrapnel damage can still be seen on the inside. After the war it was bulldozered in a bombcrater until it was discovered and recovered during roadworks in 1982. Mr. Crompton bought it from the previous German owner about 10-12 years ago, it was poorly restored then and not in running condition This vehicle was not recovered from the Vilseck barracks, as stated before (Bruce Crompton via “earlymb”). Fahrgestell number 323910, built by Skoda. Axis Track Services (Mr. Crompton's company) is working on another Hetzer, see: www.axistrackservices.com/jagpanzer-38t-hetzer1945. For the Sd.Kfz. 251/7 see: sdkfz.info/. The StuG III Ausf. G was built by Alkett in May 1944 (chassis number 105251) and was only used by the Finnish Army. I do believe all of the other vehicles are original, I have looked it up in the past. The Sd.Kfz. 251/1 Ausf. D. seen from 02:38 (unit marking 1022) is also owned by Bruce Crompton and was built in 1943.

@@rasmuswittsell10 That's the ausf D model of the 251. The ausf A, B & C variants have that fold back you mention but the design was reworked in early 1943 to reduced the number of angles so that they were quicker, cheaper and easier to build.
