@@anndavis2920 the best thing you’ve ever done for yourself! Put yourself first and keep your standards high, you deserve love and to be treated like the princess/queen you are. Same thing with me. I wanted something more but he wanted didn’t after a long term and long distance relationship. It was on and off. I decided to put myself first and completely leave him now he’s trying to get me back but I’d be so stupid to go back to him. Even if he gave me everything in the world, I don’t see a future with him the way I used to. Deep down inside I still do love him, but I love myself more.

This song is so bittersweet. When I was nine, “wrecking ball” was the nickname given to me by my best friend bc he heard me sing this song once. Lol I remember always walking into school and hearing him say, “Hey wrecking ball.” I never knew how much that would mean to me all these years later. I Still wish I could hear him say that. Hey y’all. I’m not really sure if anybody really cares about this comment haha, but just to give an update. Life still sucks. Every day without him. I do my best to not think about him, but it never helps. Wow, I am 62 yrs old I heard the hook of this song playing in my head last night 3/13/22 while I was falling asleep, mind you I am a Christian, I did hear bits of the song because it was popular I felt I was led to listen so I did and received a revelation. Even tho I thought the wrecking ball in my life was destroying me, God says, He made me and loves me, I had to go through and sometimes it’s painful but He will build you up and forgive you.
