She's been sounding like this for years, ever since 2015-2016

She changed the whole vibe of the song completely telling a different story and into a different song. QUEEN!!! She has a very wide variety of vocal range. So talented!!

Miley's version: you just entered in an old bar, there's just a few people inside, and when a woman walks to the small stage and starts to sing, all eyes turn to her. It's a moment that you'll never forget, she's just like a goddess, she sings like a goddess. She captures all the attention and her presence floods the whole place. Billie's version: you are about to leave school/work, you had a stressfull day, and then you hear someone playing the piano and singing behind a door, when you open it sightly, you can see a girl singing a beautiful song, her soft voice makes your worries go away, she doesn't notice you, she's singing to herself but it reaches to your heart. She captures your attention and her presence floods the whole room. Both versions are awesome ♡

I love how billie captures the soft and content feeling of the song and lyrics, but Miley totally went loud and proud and I love it! their styles are so different but it's truly their own 😌

Billie’s version and Miley’s version sound like two sides of the same coin, one just starting her journey and the other using the wisdom she’s gained from walking through fire. It’s very reminiscent of Joni Mitchell’s “Both Sides Now” and how she originally sang it as an idealistic young woman in 1968 and re-recorded it in 2000 after experiencing life. It took on a whole different meaning with experience behind it.

I always get impressed by Miley's voice, I just love it. Because her voice is so great and unique, It's like I always forget how she sounds, and then she comes and sings live and I'm impressed all over again

Love when she sings softer, as when she says "handsome" (2:14") It reminds me of that breathy voice that she had years ago and of those songs I listened yo when I was little 🖤

She has a different voice. Her voice has improved with maturity.

Over a year later, I still love this cover; such a good take on an already fantastic song. I have to admit I originally wrote Miley off due to my generation of timing growing up on first impressions of Hanna days, but once she broke away from Disney and did her own thing, which I still think was the best move I became a pretty continuous fan of her work, thank you for this Miley it truly is a gem.

I love how she picks songs that could inspire. Songs that have good lyrics as well as good music. She has such good taste, voice. She’s one of the best without a doubt.

I get Dolly Parton and Amy Winehouse vibes with Miley.
