to say the truth its kinda funny cuz she always had this kinda rock vibe, search for "kicking and screaming" performances for example(she was always covering some old rock songs too). but at the same time she has country on her veins and was doing a some pop.... to me, the only "shocking" was when she started do some urban stuff, but I was always litening to this kinda of sound, to me, she was just doing something she liked to hear when she was partying at that time(cuz after all, she is human too and party like us hahaha)

One of my all time favorite songs,and performances,so much power within it,so much meaning in its message of unnecessary killing and war. This Cranberries cd was the first cd I ever owned. I kept it for twenty years. Just love it ❤️The original music video will blow you away. I can still remember the very first time I heard it on the radio,in art class,as a fifteen year old. One of those songs that goes deep in your heart,and never leaves.

What Miley Cyrus has in common with other great singers, including the likes of Janis Joplin, is her total commitment to a song irrespective of the genre. Respect....

As an Irish person, I’m always very sceptical about anyone else singing Zombie other than Dolores especially as it tells a lot about Irish history, but I love Miley and she really made this her own. Saving 2020!

This is beyond amazing. Zombie is one of my favorite rock songs and she killed it. Her raspy voice fits it perfectly. This gave me chills. She felt every word of this song.

She is rock, no matter what everybody says. She not only has talent, but she has passion, stage presence, and she commits 100% in every performance. @@moonhoney5527 I think it’s because the female voice matures much more slowly than the males so even though this might have been the type of music and sound she’s wanted all along- it probably took her a little longer to achieve the type of vocal range and sound to her voice that she needed because of that.

Due to the damage it has deepened and become gravely. I think it fits this song ok, but I don't like it generally. I don't mind women with a slightly deeper voice, but it's the combo of deep and gravelly that seems to grate on my ears. You expect it from a guy, but not a woman. Just like I'm not attracted to women who look like guys, neither am I attracted to female voices that sound like male voice. Just my preference, and I don't care if other people like it or disagree, either way, Different strokes and all that.

She has an amazing voice, a raw underutilized talent. She's effing amazing in many of her songs, but she also has the unfortunate ability to completely TANK in many of her songs. I'm hoping that as she gets older she finds her "thing" because she is a well of unappreciated potential. If you need your mind changed, Jose Perez, just watch "Jolene" by M Cyrus. As much as I LOVE the original by her godmother, M Cyrus OWNS that song in her cover.

I was never a Miley fan years ago. Fuck that. She keeps upping her game, improving, and she is easily one of the BEST cover singers ever. I feel like this is the Miley I've been waiting for. I've told my boyfriend for years she should do something more alternative because everytime we heard her do a cover like thjs, she fucking killed it and her recent release of midnnight sky is freaking dope. I know she's always been a great singer and I never claimed to not like her, I just never connected with her music until midnight sky. And all these recent covers she's been doing have been such a pleasure to listen to. Way to go, Miley!
