LYRICS
Flowers in hand, waiting for me
Every word in poetry
Won’t call me by name, only baby
The more that you give the less that I
Need everyone says I look happy
When it feels right
I know that you’re wrong for me
Gonna wish we never met on the day I leave
I brought you down to your knees
‘Cause they say that misery loves company
It's not your fault I ruin everything
And it’s not you’re fault I can’t be what you need
Baby
Angels like you can’t fly down here with me
I’m everything they said I would be
(La La la)
I’m everything they said I would be
I’ll put you down slow
Love you goodbye
before you let go, just one more time
Take off you’re clothes
pretend that it’s fine
A little more hurt won’t kill you
tonight mama says you don’t look happy
Close your eyes
I know that you’re wrong for me
Gonna wish we never met on the day I leave
I brought you down to your knees
‘Cause they say that misery loves company
It's not your fault I ruin everything
And it’s not you’re fault I can’t be what you need
Baby
Angels like you can’t fly down here with me
I’m everything they said I would be
I know that you’re wrong for me
Gonna wish we never met on the day I leave
I brought you down to your knees
‘Cause they say that misery loves company
It's not your fault I ruin everything
And it’s not you’re fault I can’t be what you need
Baby
Angels like you can’t fly down here with me
I’m everything they said I would be

Flowers has more upbeat tone unlike Angels like You. But lyrically and musically, Angels like You is much, much better than Flowers. Honestly, I always play this song more often than Flowers since it has more raw emotions on it.

Taylor Swift knows the tide of music industry and she often changed genre like her albums Folklore and Evermore which most young people love since "alt and indie" is more popular now. Rock album, Plastic Hearts, wasn't recognized at first since most young people don't like Rock anymore😢 even Punk😢. But I'm happy that it is somehow been recognized by young generation these days.

From what see, she is explaining here that her ex was not the problem, it was her. Or even if there were some faults with him she certainly was more of a problem. I can identify with her. My ex was perfect and I was a wild child and clasically ruined everything. I don't even know or understand why i turned down his marriage proposal. Perhaps after a lot of introspection I was saving him from me. I wonder if I could have done things better. I still love him and yet couldn't be with him and since I still love him, its not easy to love anyone else. I hope nobody feels this way.

😢
Miley's voice: I just got my first Grammy!!! It will be my mood everytime i'll get some success!!! Crongratulations!!!!
When this came out I was homeless, on drugs, and then jail. I now have a house, job, and husband. This song and “Clover Cage - The Chess Piece” are the two songs that helped get rid of my depression. I just want to send love to everyone and I want everyone to know things will get better. We are in this together..I love you ❤️😊
Miley is Miley, she has been the same, she did not change, instead she showed who she is. I am proud that Miley is who she is, and hope that she will continue to strive to produce songs that will help other people cope up with relationships and life.

Flowers in hand, waiting for me Every word in poetry Won't call me by name, only "baby" The more that you give, the less that I need Everyone says I look happy When it feels right I know that you're wrong for me Gonna wish we never met on the day I leave I brought you down to your knees 'Cause they say that misery loves company It's not your fault I ruin everything And it's not your fault I can't be what you need Baby, angels like you can't fly down hell with me I'm everything they said I would be La-la-la I'm everything they said I would be I'll put you down slow, love you goodbye Before you let go, just one more time Take off your clothes, pretend that it's fine A little more hurt won't kill you Tonight, mother says, "You don't look happy" Close your eyes I know that you're wrong for me Gonna wish we never met on the day I leave I brought you down to your knees 'Cause they say that misery loves company It's not your fault I ruin everything And it's not your fault I can't be what you need Baby, angels like you can't fly down hell with me I'm everything they said I would be I know that you're wrong for me Gonna wish we never met on the day I leave I brought you down to your knees 'Cause they say that misery loves company It's not your fault I ruin everything (everything) And it's not your fault I can't be what you need Baby, angels like you can't fly down hell with me, oh Angels like you can't fly down hell with me

It’s like u love this man so hard cus u long n crave to built a happy family cus ure once broken too but healed. Then u gotta protect ur peace n ur kiddo. Now I understand why love hurts. To all that’s really I wish u well, healed , peace and find the love and happiness ya’ll deserve ❤ 💯🫶🏽✌🏽⚡️

I really appreciate the fact that she posted the video on women's day. The concept of what a woman should be has affected her career and personal life. I don't care what anyone says, she has been demonized for things men are easily forgiven for. For me she is like any human being, she has a light side, a dark side, a sexual side , another of love, but the fact that she is a woman makes her unable to show many of these edges, which she needs to express because she is a singer, an artist. The verse that hurts the most I'm everything they said I would be". Have she made mistakes like anyone else? Yes. Have many people hurt her? Yes. Does she deserve that everyone stops seeing her talent? Of course not. I am not a fan of Miley Cyrus, but she is a talented woman, who has a different femininity that we reject and that only shows how behind we are in many things.

The meaning of the song Angels Like You describes a woman who is looking for true and sincere love, like looking for an angel in a complex world. He has felt hurt and disappointment in previous relationships, so he hopes to find someone who is truly sincere and understands his situation.

I personally think miley's talent is so overlooked. Nowadays more people appreciate her talent, but I still think she is misjudged due to her past. She has such a unique voice and always sings with so much emotion! She writes her own music and in her interviews you can see her passion for music. I personally think she is one of the best and she touches people with her voice and music. I hope one day she gets the appreciation she really deserves!

Wow...this song deserves Grammy
She made our women's day special....wow
People keep saying that she's flopped but what they don't understand is that this girl is a damn powerhouse. Her most recent songs are not what somebody would call radio friendly. At this point Miley is enjoying herself while doing what she knows best without the stress of needing to validate her talent or whatever. I believe she can get pretty easily a hit if she decides to follow today's trends but I feel like at this point she just doesn't care.
