The CF over ran the ball. As a rule, you want to keep the ball in front of you so you get depth first, then move towards the ball. As a fielder, you never want to be the one who loses a no-no for a pitcher. The CF felt worse than Mikolas. I'm sure the team waited a few games before fining him in Kangaroo Court.

@@kngishere395 yes agree it’s a tough play but if he’s “one of the best gloves in baseball” he should have made the catch. It’s a tough play and he made it harder by staring up at the ball and running instead of, after getting the read on the ball, putting his head down and busting it for a couple strides and he would’ve been under it. Although with the line he took he would’ve probably ran the other way. I see nfl receivers do the same thing never taking their eye off the ball and all that does is always you down because it’s a fact you can run much faster with head down and looking in the direction you’re running rather than looking up and back.

Harrison bader was playing in. The reason is because they are okay with a real hard it ball going in for a hit. Where the batter beats the pitcher. Not something the squeaks over the infield. To get a hit they needed a deep fly ball and they got it. Harrison bader did exactly what he supposed to do and mikolas knows that.
