I don't know but I am getting the instincts that in the coming decades Rails will do a major comeback. Because machines will get more and more faster and thus making the developer experience and maintainability of the codebase one of the utmost importance aspects of choosing a tech stack.

Agreed, though people will still find a way to make slow software using fast languages and machines though. We've seen how good developers are at this in the past 20 years 😅
