From Mileena's POV though it would be a storytelling masterpiece (no films to compare it with if she starts watching films with that).

for a series with a hard magic system like mk (dark magic, soul magic, fire magi, etc) it makes sense an outworlder would be amazed by high tech devices. hard magic is all about limits, and what machines can do has less limits on a monthly basis these days

Well, tech has a limit which is money and whatever materialistic resources it takes to build it. Similar to "theoretically" mastering magic, it could take years to accrue, it's why Johny pulled the screen away anyways, similar to how you wouldn't want your 1-2k phone to be touched by a toddler... If anything, Alchemy "Magic" would actually solve tech's limitations, infinite gold (for building parts) basically. Plus after seeing the end of MK1 story mode, magic is the true RGB lighting experience, and we all know slapping RGB lighting on everything makes you a real gamer.

To be honest, I was expecting to see Mileena's eye pupils dilate like a cat does when seeing something of interest. She does have Tarkatan traits in her, now, such as the devilish, cat like eyes. Even suppressed, it would have been a cute thing to see.

Still, Magic is Nagic and supernatural or fantastical, Science is only that though, Science, Magic can do a lot of looney tunes or dome DC or Marvel while Science is like trying to figure stuff out or cause and effect, there is a difference, that saying should apply to our IRL magic to Science, not fictional Magic to Science

I really like how they did Mileena in this, its very clever.

It makes sense Mileena would be so fascinated by the drone. Earthrealm's technology is far more advanced than the other realms. Then again, if being 10,000 is still considered young, you wouldn't be in a rush to invent something.

ugh johnny and mileena are my favs. they hardly interact in stories but this clip makes me so happy

Nice to see how much care they put in the writing of the scenes of a fricking fighting game to make it enjoyable and funny.

It's cool to see that Mileena was very amazed to see technology, maybe someday Johnny will take her to Earthrealm to learn the true meaning of technology and how it is different from the magic at Outworld.

The story really did her justice this time😁

Mileena being fascinated by technology and Kitana being fascinated by movies and films is actually kinda cute even tho there from a different world and universe

Now I’m imagining other outworlders seeing our technology Baraka watching ninja mime Reiko with a Glock Sindel using a hairdryer/hair products Kitana becoming a film buff

I like the detail that Kung Lao always trying to not stay too close to everyone for obvious reason

This is too wholesome

I wouldn't mind a scene where Johnny takes her and other Outworlders to museums to help them understand about the technology through earthrealm history.

I love how kung lao is nodding in the background, like fuck yeah

This is just like MK11 where the past characters were pulled to the present and they were unfamiliar with the modern technology.

For one second I thought it was Special Forces, darn

I would like to see mileena ask the same question to green lantern, blue beetle, firestorm, and the atom about their powers

I just noticed that the drone is very similar to Cassie’s in mk11

And the fact none of Titan Shang's minions even bothered to look up.

This game did everything good for every character, and it is just a treat to see.

Mileena wanted a turn to play with the drone.

There is a sick part of me which wants to see Mileena become a social media influencer who uses her disability to encourage body positivity

Mileena thinking a drone is magic is honestly hilarious, if she Ever goes to earth realm, she’d probably crap her pants, when she sees all the other forms of tech

She would want to know more about Earthrealms technology for sure. Since she became empress I bet she would try to have Outworlders and Earthrealmers co exist and be friends too. Granted Im not sure if she would be the kind of ruler to have them exist alongside each other like that but they could do trades of exotic goods and foods Earthrealmers dont have.
