Bellissime foto! Complimenti! Peccato non aver mai vissuto quella Milano, esser nato troppo tardi, non aver mai visto i tram interurbani in via Valtellina...adesso cosa abbiamo? Quegli orribili Sirio! Per fortuna che ci sono ancora le Ventotto a consolare... Grazie ancora!

Another great set of photos. Such clarity for stills taken 40 years ago! Even if you never stated, the clothes everyone was wearing was a give away it was the 70's lol. I saw a few butterfly collars being sported around. Thanks, Patrick

Hi 2016 Road King, Thanks for watching and for your kind words. Way back then, I saved up and bought a really good Nikon camera and the results are still good almost 50 years later. Sometimes the streetscapes are as interesting as the vehicles. Regards, tassiebaz.

Great pix! Many of the 1927-30 model city trams roam San Francisco streets currently. Very successful, dependable crowd-swallowers. Locals vie with tourists to get on board daily! Thank you, Milan!

Hi Don Mac, Thanks for watching and for your kind words and comment. I've ridden the Milan cars in San Francisco as well as the PCCs and they're a great success story. I've done a few San Francisco presentations on KZread (please have a look) and am working on another one which will include the E Embarcadero. Regards, tassiebaz.

Thank you. Great photgraphic skill on display. Film speeds were kind of slow back then, yet these are all sharp without direct sun light.

Hi trainluvr, Thanks for watching and for your kind words. Way back then, I saved up and bought a really good Nikon camera and the results are still good almost 50 years later. Most of my pictures are slides that have been scanned. I just wish video was around then. Regards, tassiebaz

Molto belle le foto con vetture ormai sparite e vecchie linee: 8, 13 e 13 rosso. Ho una curiosità: ma le 4800 giravano solo sul 15?

Ciao palgiandy, grazie per la visione e per le tue gentili parole. Penso che quando ho visitato ho visto solo il 4800 il 15. È stato molti anni fa, quindi potrebbero averli usati su altre linee da allora, prima che andassero in pensione. Saluti, tassiebaz
