There's a reason the family tree is screwed up and a lot of it has to do with what Rumple says here.

Sorry but Milah didn't leave Neal with so much as a goodbye while Rumple spent hundreds of years trying to find him, if Emma was going to share any information about Neal it should only be with Rumple despite it all.

It wasn't an accident, though. It was choice. In that moment, power matter more than Bae and he let go. He regretted it, yes, and he searched for his son afterwards, which is great. But it doesn't change what happened or how deeply it scarred Bae. Milah abandoned her son and it was equally as selfish, but she pointed at the entire reason she was in purgatory was because of her guilt and regret over doing it. She wanted to make it up to Neal as well, but Rumple robbed her of that chance.

@@SchultzDorinda It does matter because 1) Rumple didn't really try to fix things with his son. He worked to find him, but then once he did, all he wanted to do was use magic on Bae as a quick fix, once again showing his son that magic was still the most important thing. And when Bae rejected that idea and didn't immediately welcome him back with open arms, Rumple doesn't really bother with him. He just spends the rest of the season hurting people with a brainwiped Belle. He actually doesn't do that much to try and repair the relationship with his son. 2) I've already stated that I think Milah was a crappy mom for leaving him like she did. But the whole reason she's in purgatory is because of her guilt over abandoning him. She wanted a chance to make things right and there's no reason why she wasn't deserving of one. Rumple is constantly given chances after chances. No matter how many times he has spat on his son's sacrifice by behaving like a power hungry maniac.

Because the quote-unquote "heroes" of OUAT don't see Rumple as a real, thinking, feeling person, they only see him (and treat him) as some sort of sub-human "other" which is beneath them and doesn't deserve such human considerations as empathy or fellowship, which, ironically enough, only reinforces his darkest impulses and makes him lash out at them all the more. Think about it, after all the shit Regina did to everyone they still somehow managed to forgive her and treat her with compassion and love. Can you think of ANYONE in the main cast of characters outside Belle who has ever shown Rumple anything more than resentful tolerance or barely concealed contempt...? Maybe try a little positive reinforcement, fuckwits, it worked wonders with Regina.

Milah was all about herself. Rumple wanted to live to raise his son, and she called him a coward for it. Perfect justice would’ve been Belle coming to the underworld earlier and Milah seeing Rumple move on with her, and seeing Hook move on with Emma.

It's not so much slut-shaming as it is playing up an awkward situation. It wasn't that she had sex with two different men. It's that those men happen to have had close relationships with Milah. I mean, if I dated my son's grandma's ex-lover after my son's father disappeared, it'd certainly be awkward to meet that grandma and have that info introduced straight up. For the timeline to work out, Henry's birthday is March/April. He would have been 10 in March 2011 and working backwards, was born March 2001. Emma was 18 that October. Again working backwards shed have gotten pregnant in the summer of 2000, turning 17 that October. Neal's age is on the wanted poster. His birth year is shown as 1977, making him 23 (around 23) when impregnating Emma

I love how on this show everybody is related to everybody in some type of way. like Henry is related to the entire main cast.and then it's like everybody is with everybody. there are some wild couples on this show. but the most unexpected couple is Dorothy and Red Riding Hood.

Emma is just a sweetheart... Instead of being jealous (which would have been normal but extremely selfish) or uncomfortable with her, she just told Milah about her son like she was talking to an old friend and then she trusted her and let her go with them (love that smirk she gave Rumple like: boom Dark One she just roasted you). I mean, gotta love her so freaking much.

besides just to say, when emma has meet hook, he told her he hated rumple because he killed milah in under of his eyes, so I'm sure she would have accepted that milah and hook is meet again

Ok I love the Rumple shade because ever since Emma kissed Hook the first time I have been waiting for someone to say that because my first thought when they kissed was "Girl if Milah had lived and you and Bae had stayed together he would be your stepfather in law lol". Also it bothers me so much that Emma thought Milah deserved to know about Neal (didn't) and Rumple didn't (did!).. ****Spoiler Free Edit**** even though Rumple is my favorite I do think it is a tad hypocritical of him to be the one to point out this tangled mess given who he has made out with.

yeah but Rumple is the equivalent to a mega childish super star rockstar gone crazy, have mental health /illness issues... soo... i mean the faster he whole has "one child" (/2) is kinda interesting how though how crazy he's been he's never in like 300 years "hooked hooked up with a woman" ... also they needed a scene with Cora Regina , Zelena and Rumple since Rumple and Cora did a real love interest, Cora even said that Rumple's basically her "true love"/ reason she removed her heart... Rumple could of been Zelena's and (though if Cora went for Rumple then Regina wouldn't been born)Regina's Father and he's had things with both Zelena and Regina... To be Fair Rumple's basically EVERY MAJOR CHARATERS DADDY...Father in the show/ family tree. that's the sad part is and kinda made an episode and a couple what happen's if some villain took out/ rumple never DID ANYTHING other then his "broken family poor life / kept Bae, or fight the ogres war and have basically EVERYONE PANIC and his to save him... but yeah XD

I think it’s a bummer Milah never got to meet Henry. Also I love the sound of Grandma Milah.

When he puts it that way it sounds weird but if he’s seen it unfold for 4-5 seasons it’s not strange. 😂

This hilariously awkward moment is one of the many things that makes this show a very exciting fantasy soapopera.

Emma's little "huh" just makes this scene.

Rumple sure looked disappointed when Emma said Neal moved on. I bet he wanted to see his son again.

Absolutely agree... one of the funniest scenes of the whole show. I could laugh myself sick at Emma's reaction every time 🤣🤣 Gold really enjoyed showing she off properly ('...affair which resulted in a scandalous teenage pregnancy...in prison.') Oh god, how embarrassing...I don't even know why he did it like that. Maybe just for fun...😄

Firstly Milah made the choice to leave coz she wanted to. I am pretty sure for herself mainly. And also she left her son with his father not in some dumpster. And Killian doesnt act rude. And also for Graham, the man was written to be dead since the very start. Cute guy or not. And Emma and Hook are True Loves.

2:49 I love this moment. 😂😂😂 It really takes me back to the time when Rumpel was the punk, and Milah was the one pushing him around, and making a fool out of him. 😂 And judging by the look of Rumpel's face, I'd say that part triggered memories of the past for him as well. 😂 And I love the way she says: "RUMPEL."

This might honestly be the best scene in the show. I have many issues with season 5, but this right here, is a masterpiece
