I have to say as brilliant as Natalie Portman was in her role, Mila held her own and pulled out a great supporting performance. Congrats on what will be her first Oscar nomination for best supporting actress come January 25, 2011.
when she started talking about her upbringing i wanted to cry. so many people dont realise how hard she's worked and how much she's been through to get where she is today, with award nominations and such. she is beautiful and she deserves every ounce of success she receives.
I love how she brings up her upbringing. My family also comes from communistic USSR Soviet Union Armenia at the time no money was allowed to be brought to America. So we literally came here without a single word of english no money in our pockets worked our way up parents worked a bunch of menial minimum wage jobs. I feel her
I love her, but when I hear her in interviews, all I can think of is "Shut up Meg!" That voice is so iconic, I can't help it.

Or maybe even "DAMN, JACKIE!!!" #LOL
She's so genuine! Love her!
she is very clever
This is probably the most interesting interview I have ever watched. You really get to know Mila.
she has a lot of intellect and she presents it with so much charm wow
Mila Kunis did her part very well- down to being believable from San Francisco. She looked so much more like a ballet dancer in movie- not so much in real life. it amazes me how the film achieves this. it's the incredible challenge of acting- that transforms actors.
i love her laugh
Mila and Natalie are both beautiful and great actors. I love them in this movie.
I love Mila, she's someone even the girls will instantly fall in love with, and of course be jealous of
Congradulations for mila and natalie for both getting golden globe nominations I don't care if they win or lose I just care that there performances are getting reconized in this film they were amazing
One if the things that causes racism is parents not telling their children that other people exist. When I was a little girl, my grandmother told me about all different kinds of people.
Peter Travers always gives Mila great critics. He's the one who called her ''illegaly adorable''. I wonder if he was thrilled to interview her.
i like the way she said her name Milena.

This interviewer is terrible hahah Mia was sweet thought
I remember that barbie commercial hahaha
I was too mesmerized by her beauty to understand anything she said.
I dont remember seeing my first colored person but my WHOLE family has people that look black, white, asian and indigenous. :)
MEG GRIFFIN!!!
interesting
WOW I didnt know she was Russian! Cool story!
@xcuerdenx Haha I'm glad :D
Well, she said she didn't watch TV...
I like her a lot but it was weird to me when they went for dinner and drinks in the movie, she acted a lot like a mini Angelina Jolie. It was sort of a turn off, but the rest of the movie I liked her pretty well.
she is so amazing actress and the most beautiful woman in the world
@cuckos95 jewish parents? by saying that your implying she isnt jewish when in fact she is
Maybe they had no access to tv and magazines. Or only certain magazines.
2:02
I bet you only 10 people who know her know about that shit. People love her regardless of her childhood. You don't know her, you didn't know how she lived so all you talk is pure speculation.
OMG ITS MEG...... :D:D:D
Come on now. Sarah Lane, with the American Ballet Theatre, did that dancing in Black Swan. Through a special process called "face enhancement" Natalie Portman's face is superimposed over Sarah Lane's. Lane is doing the dancing. Not Natalie Portman! And Natalie Portman thanked everybody i her acceptance speech--excep this dancer who did the dancing!
@8:50: hahaha...she really shouldn't have said that...they do have black people in Russia, remnants of Ethiopian/Somali immigrants. Just like there are many of us Vietnamese there in Russia...we're not all just boat people in Cali.
no she's not russian, nor ukrainian. she stated that she was born in ukraine with jewish parents, check it in wikipedia
@JillVirkus What?! Really? LOL Belgium had it's infamous colony in the Congo, which must have produced exposure to Africans somehow.
My mom's name is Mileni.
Ukraine FTW
Mila Kunis came to America at a time when the Soviet Union, as we know it, would eventually be history!
Why do people write she's from Russia? She's from UKRAINE! Doesn't she say it twice in this interview? You could say she from former Soviet Republic of Ukraine or from Soviet Union but it is incorrect to say she's from Russia. Russia is not the only heir apparent of everything Soviet
@meehee45 Who said I was straight?
The Ukraine ftw
@BreakfloorNerd Ukraine*
Actually, blue people do exist.
@SmoothCinnamonX not really. She is white, just a little tanner
don't worry there's at least 302 other girls watching too=}
I adore Mila Kunis.... but asking your parent if there are purple or green people out there just because she didn't know that black existed? Seriously!!?? Come on, she was 7 years old not 3. Surely she must have seen those old soviet cartoons about the pirates where black people were featured. Unless she lived in a bush))
@JillVirkus like we dont have black people in Belgium....
She would be perfect for Kellan Lutz. They would make gorgeous babies!
well she surely isn't "poor" now
@xcuerdenx Haha, there's that damn heteronormativity catching up to me again...
how did she come in 1981 when she wasnt even born than ?
SHUT UP MEG!!! im sorry i couldnt help it T.T
The video is most popular with: Female 13-17 Female 18-24 Female 25-34 HAHAHA
She is Jewish like Gwyneth Paltrow, Seth Green, and Natalie Portman.
Mila Kunis can turn a straight girl gay!
it's a shame capable people had to actually renounce their education after coming to the states..
What . . . ?
she came in 1991, lol
MEG GRIFFIN :|
She copies Angelina Jolie a lot. Ever since Gia, she's trying to be like her.
@xcuerdenx Maybe the only straight girl...
Let's be real: she got incredibly lucky. Her parents made unbelievable sacrifices and she just so happened to be a naturally beautiful girl with a warm, charismatic personality. Her actual talent is marginal. Sure, she trains hard for some roles, but she's getting paid tens of millions of dollars to do it. If only I could get paid millions to work out, act like myself on screen, and just exist, because I'm beautiful. Hollywood is little more than a beauty and popularity contest. It's the most shallow world there is. At least you know a beauty pageant is shallow, whereas Hollywood offers a dishonest veil of legitimacy through the "art" of acting. But Hollywood doesn't prioritize acting talent, rather fantasy, and cheap entertainment. It's so sad that most actors out there with true talent never get discovered and barely earn a living.

She literally works hard for every role she’s ever had. Not just a few, and yes maybe the payment and rewards prior are her first bit of motivation, but you can’t deny she’s always been very hardworking and stern. Hollywood isn’t as bad as you think, saying that lightly of course. What I’m saying is that every single actor or artist has a different experience than another every time.
im gay for mila x9
ukrainian women r the best, overall ;)
So freaking hot!
shes up heself
SHUT UP MEG ! >:D
first good thing from Russia?
