Love that Tom intentionally pointed out its not a performance. When truly care and support its proactive action, awareness- not a performance.

This was much more interesting an interview than I originally thought it would be. Tom is such an intelligent, kind and open person. I just love this guy.

This conversation is so deep for 6 a.m. and I LOVE it, so much! Add this to the list of reasons why I love him. The fact that he doesn't even think about (or realize) how genuinely good of a person he is... ❤🧡💛💚💙💜

A very interesting interview . I have been looking forward to hearing this as soon as it was announced. Tom Ellis a very honest & open, caring individual. What a breath of fresh air to see & listen to this. A very relaxed & honest discussion about many issues.. You can see both Mila & Tom very much at ease with eachother. .They have talked about many issues in this & it has been very informative. Something to think about. May there be many more discussions like this. It has opened up my mind personally today. Can there be more like this too, as it has been a educational & insightful listen Thankyou for making this available ❤

I really enjoyed this interview. What I find really interesting about Tom is that whenever he discusses religion he doesn’t say he doesn’t believe he instead will say that he has moved away from organised religion or that he had respect for those keep beliefs of peace, tolerance and kindness. The language used is definitely thought out. A lot of christians move away from organised religion but it doesn’t stop them having faith and supporting those from all areas of society.

He may not be Christian anymore, tbh. Most people who withdraw, including agnostics and atheists, attempt to be respectful. It tends to be the religious who struggle with accepting nonbelief sadly.

I absolutely love this! Mila, Tom, we need more people like you two as well as Brandon. We need more love, kindness and understanding in this world. Tom has always been this incredibly kind, generous and caring person and after BLM and even this I adore and love him more (if that could be possible). I have to thank him because before him I wouldn't have met you, Mila or Brandon so I thank him for bringing you into my life. Mila, you are amazing, beautiful and kind and I thank you so much for being here and talking about this. Ask me 2 years ago I wouldn't know but since my son shown me so much! This is so important to talk about. my pronouns are she/her/hers. Love you both so much ❤️

Loved your talk a year ago... as well as your conversations with Brandon K. Goodman ... this is so down to earth and honest... the world needs more of this. Made me think a lot back then... still does... hope there will be more. Mila and Tom... thanks a lot for this. You really make a difference and keep all these issues in our minds by doing this. This is so needed in this world today. Thanks! Lots of love to you.

I made mistakes when my trans sibling was transitioning. You just apologize briefly, move on and practice a lot. I also grew up in the church. I don't go anymore. I still believe but the politics and intolerance does make it very difficult but I too was instilled with those same base values Tom talks about as well as some bad ones. However, I think overall it was more bad than good. I weaned out the bad ones hopefully. The White Savior thing can be a struggle. Thanks to Tom for being a good example. It is so easy to just be performative. Respect.

Tom is so vital, Mila! Cute. I'm glad I watched you both right now. He IS wonderful to look at, I'm jealous you get to be with him in person :( . I want to try meeting him at a Comic Con type convention or some other event where we can meet him in person. I bet he is wonderful to SPEAK to as well.

Interesting conversation. I like and respect Tom's take on the world and issues, and I have for a while now. Strange to hear him called a "budding actor," when he has had a good career in television for several years, including just coming off of a six-year run in a hit TV show (Lucifer) on Netflix. Regardless, it was a terrific discussion. I would love to hear more.

At more than half a century, I still struggle with using or reading what I was taught were ONLY plural pronouns for a singular person, I still struggle and stumble over that one. I read lots of what would now be called "woke" literature in my college days in my20s & 30s, and I really liked the gender neutral pronoun "per" as an abbreviation for person in the singular; I really wish that one had caught on.

I really wanted to watch this until they got to the “privilege” crap. Sorry. It’s not like Tom is going to say anything different then what he said. Even if he believes in something different. He wants to keep working and he will say what he needs to say to keep working. We all know what happens when people say the believe in something different.
