Finish watching. Both season and the extras 10/20/19. This song is catchy. And we'll made. 9 years ago the show first season was released. Appreciate the effort for releasing the song within two years (a year before season 2)

I have never heard of this anime or the original song but your voice is really good! It retains the same japanese vibe, I really like this.

Rozalind Aria In the original novel, it's implied that they didn't totally dissolve the relationship. The author also said that the only reason that he made them "break up" at teh end was because the editor wouldn't allow him to have them end as a defined couple, but that, as far as he is concerned, he ended it (in the books) in a away that implied that they are.

It's a sad truth really. Despite that (depending on how you look at it. Incest doesn't phase me.), it's a pretty good anime. Great characters, decent plot points, pleasing visuals, and they wrap it up rather well. In reality, the whole incest thing barely goes anywhere. Obviously I don't want to spoil it, but I'm assuming you've seen the entirety of the 2 seasons, so hopefully you'll understand when I say, I think the way they went about it was respectable enough.

I hate on it because kureneko is fuckin best girl and that ship sunk >:c ... Besides that, I really enjoyed it and even with the whole incest-based plot it isn't a bad serie :D.

Well I this seems to be a show and tell where they say and don't tell. they "Say" its incest but don't really "show". I feel like the "incest" promise feels nothing more than an advertising ploy.

With only 3 episodes left of the second season coming on August 18th, I'm undeniably sad this anime is coming to a close. This could have easily been stretched to 4 seasons, though it'll never happen I hoping for a movie.

Aside from the whole getting married and dating your sister, this show actually had lots of family values to it. Think about it, brother and sister are completely hostile towards each other, neither one caring about the other's existence. Then, when the other sibling gets into some trouble, the only one she/he can turn to is the sibling. Through that experience,both siblings are reminded of the fun times they had as kids. I think that's what Oreimo was trying to get across, "spend time with your siblings rather than ignoring them. learn to care about them and love them as family." Not "incest is wincest". Having a sister of my own, I actually clicked with Kyousuke pretty well, as my sister and I treated each other the exact same way until she got into middle school. Then she found out that I was the person who could help her out with her problems. Maybe I'm just playing out my life to make it fit the show, but hey, that's what I got out of it. And no, I didn't marry my sister at the end of that story. (only people who have siblings will understand what I'm talking about most likely)

I get exactly what you mean. My brother and I were really close when we were small, and then as we got older and my relationship with my father grew worse, my brother drew away from me for a multitude of reasons (some unreasonable, some actually my fault). But we both got older and as things happened to the two of us we remembered that hey, we're actually pretty cool people and it's nice to have someone to rely on. There's a quote from Code Geass that's "There really is no relationship as wonderful as that of loyal siblings." Truer words have never been said. And, no, I did not marry my brother either.
