Thanks for putting together what I'm sure will be a great series of videos. I've run a MicroTik router to years but never really got around to learning about all it's features. This was a great introduction video and I'm hoping you'll go into detail about things like VPN set up.

I am doing the same with trying to learn more about some WAN technologies without breaking the bank. You can also connect one of these devices to a simulated GNS 3 build for more fun. :)

Thanks for this series... I was about to buy some Ubiquiti gear (literally had it all in my cart) when I saw some references to Mikrotik which seemed interesting... After some reading I was sold on Mikrotik but afraid of the set up but watching a few of your videos was more than enough to have it all set up in under an hour... it was in fact so nice and easy I am now watching the rest of the series to start squeezing all I can from my Mikrotik router

If anyone is having a issue where they are not seeing the "Quick set" option in the router, here is the solution. Go down to "System" then click "Packages" and then click "Check for updates". That worked for me, hope it works for you too.

Thanks man for your time spent to teach us HOW-TO.. I have a question though. You show settings for the wireless network, but the router you showed at the beginning of the video I believe is only wired. So, I'm a bit confused by that. Did you change to other router that has a wireless side, too?

My questions are ... 1) which video is for customizing login page and customizing voucher. 2) What is the best configuration for the combination of Mantbox 2 12s with RB750GR3 (Hex) - I want to set it up as WISP so probably I will add another two Mantbox 2 12s to have a 360 degree coverage. 3) Is the bandwidth automatically distributed equally to all users when setting up the TX and RX in the creation of a profile in User Manager or The Userman?

Hi thank you for this wonderful tutor, please i have a mikrotik router 750rb that have been working on my network as it was config by my friend... but to my surprise it stop generating hotspot web browsing code for client to brows, when i try to generate user it show "operation failed: data base is not yet ready. please what should do to resolve this

Hello! I will start watching your playlist because it's the best I've found around and I'm gonna head for a test in a month or two, so thank you for that. Anyway, is using RouterOS via Virtual Box in the same PC we're using to config, had the same configuration with the RouterBoard one? Because I had trouble finding RouterBoard to use, so I use RouterOS instead in Virtual Box.
