Mikrotik Hotspot - Bandwidth Limit using Built-in Limiter | Mikrotik Configuration Tutorial Step by Step
Learn how to do bandwidth limit using the Builtin-Limiter of Mikrotik Hotspot.
In this video, I will show how to do bandwidth limit on your Mikrotik Hotspot.
We will set the rate-limit parameter to do bandwidth limit. You can set the rate-limit parameter either on hotspot server profile or in hotspot user profile.
Hotspot Server Profile:
Rate limit set on hotspot server profile will limit the bandwidth of the hotspot network. If you set 5Mbps then all the hotspot users will share the 5Mbps.
Hotspot User Profile:
Rate limit set on hotspot user profile will set the bandwidth limit on each users that belongs to that profile. If there are 2 users that belongs to 1Mb-User-Profile then each users will get 1Mbps bandwidth limit.
