I love the MiG 25, such an incredible aircraft. I’ve been lucky to see a few in real life, unreal. I’m glad ICM released kits of this beast (I have 4 x 1/48 kits in my stash). Nice work Dr MiG.👍🏻

Very nice build. I'm doing same model, but ICM rebox to Revell. It comes with decals to cockpit. I find panel lines to shallow and fragile, hoping they won't disappear after painting. Bravo majstore 🤙😁🤙

Nice job, as always. The model seems to be naturally tail-heavy. Did you need to add a weight in the nose?

Just a question, what do you do with your builds that cause such fitting issues? I've read your zvezda mi-24 build as one of the worst fitting kits you've ever built and now watching this mig-25 built too. I've built both. My zvezda Mi-24V I almost didn't use any putty, I only deviated from instructions by gluing each front and rear half first. After that almost perfect fit everywhere, and only one spot on the upper fuselage on the rotor opening needed a bit of clamping and sanding and a spot between front and rear canopy bubble where it shifted a bit when gluing. Your build @ 0:45 you mistakenly place intake ramps behind locating tabs but further it seems you correct that mistake @ 4:54 the front to rear fuselage join for mine was good, a little step but very little sanding fixed it. Your front fuselage looks to be shifted up by something in your assembly. @ 5:16 the vertical tail and rear panel part left huge gap in your build. Mine didn't leave a gap, sat flush with almost perfect fit, only had to sand join line ahead of strakes since there's no panel like there. @ 5:22 Mine had a few spots around lower intake lips, upper intake edges and upper front to rear fuselage join needed a little bit of putty, but gaps were not as big as yours. @ 6:20 my wings had smaller gaps, upper left one used surfacer 1000 all along and right wing only front half. Lower wings only four spots where locating tabs joins were visible.

Well I guess I rush the assemlby :D something I am guilty of with almost every model I do.The mig is actually a great kit.I did not follow the instructions to the letter and I thought I can build it more efficient and I was mistaken.That is why I did have fit issues with it.As far as the mi24 is concerned.That kit is not designed to be built.with all doors and covers closed.That is the main problem with it.I want my mi24s to have closed doors closed engine covers etc and it is a real pain to make it like that.It also depends on how flush younwant the panels to be.I want mine perfect so that is why I sand more than ussual ;)

Well done on this. The fit of this kit obviously leaves a lot to be desired. The join between the cockpit and the fuselage looks like a nightmare. I posted earlier saying there must be better kits around than this and I think my comment might have been misinterpreted. It’s now missing. Sorry about that.

The old icm PD is an old kit.Pretty bad I know I have buil several of them.The recce bomber mig25s are new moulds and are awesome

I've build 2 ICM kits so far. A MIG -25 and a MIG 31, those are also the last from ICM. What a horrible fit and really bad build instructions. Never was so frustrated with a kit
