Mikki Mase on Making Millions Gambling, The Dark Side of Gambling & Training with Jason Lawrence...

Mikki Mase is a professional gambler and former amateur motocross champion. Mikki grew up in the orbit of guys like J-Law, Izzi and Stroupe and after a promising amateur career he moved towards one of his other passions in life, gambling. During Covid, Mikki escaped to Las Vegas and went on a multi-million dollar winning spree which resulted in bans from almost all the major casinos. We also had a rare technical issue during this podcast which saw only half of Mikki's audio record. The first one and a half hours of this show is recorded in separate locations while the second part is recorded in person in our California studio.

The “sky shot” and the “screw-u” turn at unadilla are two of the coolest obstacles on the circuit. I’d you haven’t seen that downhill into the 180 left turn in person, you’ll never understand how steep and insane that hill is. I’ve been to kidders there where they just cut that corner off the track because 75% of the pro riders couldn’t make it up the hill.

I was there and loved that track so much - Mikki if your reading this I admire your story and I have a similar story - My passion for racing ended from a divorce but mostly me taking the wrong road rebellious getting into drugs which tore my life apart for 20 years off and on - I’ve been free from all hard drugs for 10 years . I raced against stewart ,pastrana, Carmichael, and supermini and I’m sure you at the Mini Os as well . Man I hope I cross paths with you some day ! I keep seeing the internet calling cap, but I'm not seeing where anyone has managed to expose his bullshit. I saw where he logged into the IRS website for an interviewer to show him his gambling winnings... Point being, in the information age, it's not hard to disprove things like "my dad was swept up on a rico case and I grew up with the mob". I can't find anything like that on this guy, what I have found is that he is willing to prove himself when given the opportunity and seemingly offers a great deal of transparency. Haters gonna hate. he's undoubtedly extremely bright, and will likely do even bigger things as he matures and comes into himself...

He might not be lying but he’s 100% exaggerating lol. He said at one point he owned over 300 pharmacies. He was a gun runner. Was in a gang. Banged 6 different girls every day. The NBA came to him about being the commissioner of a new league they were setting up. I love him. He’s very entertaining. Very smart. And charismatic. But that doesn’t mean I completely trust him either. Ppl automatically assume just because you’re skeptical about what someone is saying that you hate them for no reason. Hatred and believing every word that comes out of someone’s mouth are not the same.

I think he is getting paid by someone to say those kind of things. I agree that he is definitely being dishonest, so the only reason he would say that is for advertisement. It's pretty smart if you think about it

Theres kids training at 4 years old. Your under estimating the distance a moto dad I willing to go to live vicariously through their kid. All it takes for a father to flip that switch is one moment of brilliance from their kid on a bike and we think we have the next super star. Most of us including me have all done it but most of us realize we are just gonna push our kids away. It takes a special breed for it to work and those kids dont have to be pushed.

Idk man, growing up as a moto kid myself with my younger brother we would ride hard and work just as hard from a very young age. My brother would be out there on a pw50 sending jumps we built at the house my buddies and i were hitting on our 80s. From age 3-6 he snapped the frame in half at least 5 times. My older brother and my dad were very accomplished offorad racers and we grew up with a strict dicipline and work ethic to get as good as possible and train to ride as fast as we could without much direction. All my dad would do is lead by example and we all wanted to go race baja with him and my brother so we did what we needed to to live the dream.

I think roughly speaking that’s pretty believable considering he grew up around villopoto, J-Law and Izzi -at least by the time he was riding 65s. One thing he said that seems like cap is riding a bike without training wheels at 2 years old. I don’t think 2 year olds have the motor skills for that

Why would you think he’s capping because he said he trained at 6? I trained at 6 and so did a shit load of others. Some people do things all out. You really think those 4-6 year old PW riders that go to Loretta’s don’t train at all?

I just think this dude is a compulsive liar like no other besides the fact that he gambles big. The dude comes from money, is one of the biggest fish in poker that games are literally BUILT around and talks like he's an expert at everything. The guy can promote himself no doubt and has built himself a brand but I don't understand how people just don't see thru this. His "winrates higher than anyone in the casino business" or whatever he spouts are just so weird. Unless he cheats the games he plays it just wouldn't make sense. Baccarat is one of his games. He just managed to figure out how to break the game to the point where he's banned? oook. He's just the current Dan Bilzerian
