Another signing to the squad." So proud to support such a progressive/Forward thinking club. Which Always tries to go that extra mile. Instead of standing still with time.

For those who would like to know about him as a player. An advanced playmaker. With a good kick both on long shots and free kicks. A player, whose biggest assets are his technique and game intelligence. Like the danish national coach has said many times, he has always been the type of player who reads the game faster than anyone else. Find him in the half spaces and have runs in front of him and he will make things happen. Looking forward to seeing him for the bees. He still needs developement as anyone his age does. But im sure that Frank, Riemer and the rest of the staff will help him become a really big player. Oh and for what it's worth i don't know him personally, but he has always struck me as a very kind and likable young man.

This lads the next Eriksen for real. I’ve been watching him for a year now and I’m impressed and it was only a matter of time until he came to the premier league. This manager knows what he’s doing, hope the lad the best and he adapts here because he is the future of Denmark and has the potential.

@@Aden068 To me he isn't a new Eriksen. Atleast not as Eriksen is now. Eriksen has in my eyes developed from a player, who was great at making plays between the midfield and attack like a classic 10 to someone, who creats plays from a position a bit further back. Damsgård is more of a classic 10. The two best examples i can give is his long shot goal vs Russia at the Euro's to 1-0, which is technically harder than it lookks at first glance. And his assist in our 2-0 win at home against Scotland in the world cup qualifier. I will try and find a clip of that assist.

Am a chelsea fan but damm he made me fall for him at euro ..... Damm brentford u got a great talent .... Its seem i have to support brentford from now on

Not surprised. He’s an absolute baller, and he’s great at play making and connecting with team mates easily. It was only inevitable that he was going to find himself into the premier league some day. Danish manager singing Danish players. But fr he deserves the premier league and he’s underrated so I think this will work out for the lad well.

Brilliant player, and a fantastic signing, one I didn’t see coming at all! Was brilliant for Denmark at the Euros, well done Brentford!

im from Denmark and I watched the highlights of the match against Manchester United and in the outro I saw the name Mikkel Damsgaard and I was like WHAT? MIKKEL DAMSGAARD? ER DU SKIFTET TIL BRENTFORD? WHAT? And i was so happy for Mikkel Damsgaard because Mikkel Damsgaard was so underrated until now! A big W for Damsgaard😀

That is going to be great for Dansgaard, will be the perfect place for him to develop. Congratulations to Brentford to for staying in the PL for at least a 3rd year. #DAMSINIO for the win.

As a danish person, I can say Brentford made an exceptional decision by signing Mikkel. Temperamentally, skills-based, and overall young and ambitious fits very well into the Brentford squad at the moment! Brentford knows how to sign the right players at the right time, that's for sure :-)
