Tremendous mentality. He had to endure both Chelsea and good portion of Arsenal fans slagging him off. But the man kept his head down, worked hard and we can all see where he is now.

Arsenal fans actually supported him generally. Other fans abused him and laughed at us for buying him
@BB-ck7xe
Ай бұрын
Not only that, it’s worth remembering that he was still largely undefined as a player when we signed him, and he was (initially at least) brought in to play a role that was equally undefined and ambiguous (left 8). He’s had to carry the weight of the price tag, he’s had to fight to win people over against the backdrop of our history with Chelsea, and he’s had to do it whilst working out who and what he was as a player and whilst trying to define and make a success of a completely new role - a role that most Arsenal fans had pinned a lot of hopes on and believed would represent the next big evolution of our side once Xhaka left. That’s a lot of uncertainty and pressure, but fair play to him he’s handled it with class and dignity and just quietly got on with winning us over.

@@ps5andstuffherenot really. I have seen and heard a tremendous amount of our fans trashing him for many months, saying how Arteta chose him and always favor him. I'm still baffled by the fact that I've never criticized him publicly (In my mind I sure did, like many times for a couple of months) but because of last season, my trust and believe in Arteta dominated all those thoughts and for the few earlier months he have been un-performing, I always thought Mikel and Edu would not buy him for no reason, I need to be patient. So even though I sometimes falter, I still chose to believe in him soleley because of Arteta and yeah, now its paying off real good.
I must admit, there's a certain joy that fills the air whenever our team scores. But there's a unique sensation when I see Kai scoring.

As Rice and Kai are saying in their interviews, it's such a great compliment to Arteta 's coaching tactics
Finally, an interviewer asking the right questions. 👏🏾👏🏾
Kai on the "Underappreciated Jorginho" is how I have always viewed football as a CDM growing up. Yeah I liked to go forward when I could but I truly enjoyed setting up the move, or slotting a striker through on goal. I appreciate Jorgi a lot, and I appreciate Kai's point of view on it. He has been excellent this year. COYG
The fact that he said all that about Jorginho makes his run for the goal absolutely immaculate.
Well adjusted, articulate and self-critical. Van understand why Arteta loves Havertz. Guy is the perfect Swiss Army knife of a player, able to perform multiple roles within the ‘positional play’ framework

It seems to be a constant mention now from every new young player in Arsenal, that they've learnt to see football in a completely different way. Arteta must be a very tactical coach. And also everyone spoke about his details. Rice, Saliba, White, Saka, Martinelli,now Havertz. Odegaard spoke about his pre-match tactical games based on in-match situations and in-game positions. He must be a great tactical coach. It's definitely the La Massia DNA in him.

don't forget Son. he might be playing for the team that shall be named nowadays, he's undeniably is one of the best PL players of the past 10 years.
Havertz and Jorginho are two players that are often misunderstood by fans with low footballing IQ. Wenger tried to sign Jorginho a few times. We now see why. Havertz is the model player in Arteta's style of football. His versatility, along with other players, allows us to shift formational shapes to manage various in-game situations. This is why we're dangerous going forward and solid at the back
I'm glad I supported and urged fans to support this guy from day one. My faith was in Arteta and kept telling everyone how Kai was contributing to the team even b4 his first goal against Brendtford. Keep firing King Kai
He reminds me of Bergkamp in that he's slender framed, not a tough guy looking or acting, but can put it about when needed or desired.

I’m not saying Kai is on as same level as Muller buh I can confidently say they have a lot in common and when it comes to the contribution to gain the possession Kai is on another level and let’s not forget the fact that the boy is just 24 years old ❤❤❤❤ Kai keep being positive you have a very bright career ahead of you ✍🏻❤️
