THIS IS WHY WE NEED MORE BIBLE IN CHURCH SERVICES! I really wish more churches/pastors would read through the bible (line by line) in church gatherings. Why is it that all my life I've been in church (over 30 yrs) and we've only touched like 1/3 of the Scripture?? That's nuts!!! ALL OF THE GOD-BREATHED SCRIPTURE IS USEFUL FOR TEACHING, REBUKING, CORRECTING, AND TRAINING... (1 Tim 3:16-17). Make these so-called preachers WORK for their money!!! Make them preach, teach, and read through the whole Word of God! Give that to the flock. I bet you if they had to, we would see the "career/entrepreneurial/influencer" pastors jump ship fast! They probably wouldnt be able to answer half of the questions congregants would have.

@@lsmith1233 We need the Ephesians 4:11 - five fold ministry to exhort, comfort, and edify. There needs to be someone to account to for what you hear. Not saying that you cant hear, you just need what you heard to be challenged to be sure its in accordance to the word. We need the WHOLE of the body. Not saying you are incorrect, just saying that each joint supllieth and we need the entire body. 1 John 2:27 here is referencing us not needing anyone to teach us the basics of the faith that would prevent us from being led away ( through discernment). We definitely need teachers of the word so that we don't just make up or go with our OWN interpretation.

Thank you so much for tackling this. Pearson is currently undergoing a punishment nobody can fathom for his destructive heresy. 2 Peter chapter 2 tells us how Jesus will deal with men like him. For it would be better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than having known it, to turn away from the holy commandment handed on to them. It has happened to them according to the true proverb, “A dog returns to its own vomit,” and, “A sow, after washing, returns to wallowing in the mire.” - 2 Peter 2:21-22

Clearly a lot have not listened to his sermons. He went from no hell, to not even believing the Bible is real. He did not believe in Jesus. He once said that Jesus may not even be real. He even laughed that the years that was unaccounted , for Jesus he may have been somewhere living a wild life and laughed. He said there is no evidence Jesus is real. He said Jesus teaching was not the first and if Jesus is real he copied other good men before him. He said we once was here before and forgot we gave permission to be here. I remember thinking, this man has lost his mind. Carlton said terrible things. I sometimes use to gasps, with mouth wide open for the horrible horrible things he said about God and Jesus. To see he once preached about Jesus. I could have dealt with the no hell forever issue, and forgive him, but his head got big and he went to far.

I'm in total agreement with you. Mike Todd needs deliverance. No anointing on that man. Not to mention his attire. He was disrespectful calling Bishop Carlton Pierson, "CDP". Larry Reid called it on his show about the fiasco of the service honoring Bishop Pierson. Just wrong on so many levels. I totally agree. Mike Todd needs to be avoided.

Mr. Todd is very emotion-driven, not scripture-driven. His appeal is to emotions, he speaks to the itchy ears, and those whose heart does not really seek GOD will love and cheer his doctrine. He is a merchant and the serpentine spirit is evident in him. May the GREAT POWER OF GOD break the yoke in his life, because he is on a path to the indescribable DOOM

Unfortunately, his beliefs did not lineup with what God left on record in His word as to what we are to believe so we can spend eternity in His presence. You nor I can affirm where he went, but based on what he confessed gives “3rd parties” a belief as to where he may have possibly gone. It’s not shallow because Mr. Pearson publicized his belief leaving us to determine based on the knowledge of the Holy Scriptures where he may have gone. Be blessed.

I believe he had extreme struggles with his sexuality. Many people believe this but always kept hush about it. But even before his gospel of inclusion. He grew up oneness Pentecostalism and grew up under extreme legalism and most importantly charismatic false doctrine so he traded another false religion and went for another false religion.

My mother and I were having a discussion about that maybe around the time you had typed this comment. It seemed like his main focus, in regards to everyone can get into Heaven all willy nilly, was about LGBT more than any other sin type. Typically when a supposedly straight person in the church is hellbent on defending LGBT or are acting like all the church ever focuses on is the sin of homosexuality, there's a good chance that person is a homosexual themselves (whether openly, secretly, or haven't acted on certain urges they possess) or they have a close loved one who's of that lifestyle and they don't want to accept the fact that said loved one is in sin. My mother and I had suspected he fell into one of those categories.

@@makeitlight That's not preincarnation; that's revelation of God's omniscience. He knows us before He forms us because He's all-knowing. Preincarnation would be previously existing before being born which is not what is being described in that passage. Scripture is clear that we have but one existence that starts with our physical birth with a fallen human nature, we eventually die physically (unless Jesus returns beforehand), and then there is the judgment. There is no preexistence nor continual cycle of reincarnation as taught in pagan religions.

If I'm not mistaken, I saw a clip of him explaining his new look on hell or something like that. Even as a sinner I was terrified to hear a pastor be so nonchalant about it. I do what I do but still the idea of playing with God has always scared me and still does no matter how old I get. Just from that era when we were either hot or cold, that in between mess was never an option. I hope he did make it in the Kingdom and want these modern leaders to stop playing with God and souls. Yes, I've discussed it before.

It makes me really sad....We often talk about false doctrine at my local church. May God open the eyes of the body of Christ. This feel good, bubblegum gospel is so dangerous.

May God give you all the same grace and mercy you give to others.

That has nothing to do with mercy and grace. The Bible is clear that if anyone preaches other gospel let them be cursed.

Amazing how humans have the answers to the beginning of time the answers to evolution no one knows and that’s where wisdom begins when we admit how ignorant we really are

I just believe no one should be allowed to preach or pastor without going through seminary. People need to study to show themselves approved, with some legality and certificate attached to it. I just refuse to believe that everyone should be “ordained”. I’m not saying Carlton, or Mike was not called by God at some point but I also believe people can get lost in the culture and not truly study the scriptures to get understanding from the Holy Spirit. I love Mike Todd and believe He has an incredible gift for production in music and has a way that can reach the generations after him however, we must pray that God truly reveals to him his word, His truth and how to convey it based on His counsel. Everyone going on social media bashing him and “rebuking” him really isn’t helping the situation either to be honest. 🤷🏾‍♀️ Let’s Pray before we Post.

Carlton Pearson was a great brother. He understood the difference between RELIGION RELATIONSHIP and our GOD DIRECT RELATIONSHIP. I SPOKE TO him many years many times. His understanding was way beyond just quoting scriptures. Only GOD determine where each person will spend eternity...THANK GOD 3RD PARTIES opinions hv no impact.

he was a false teacher. who denied much of scripture.

I am not against giving honour to men and women who have toiled in the vineyard, but I have a serious problem with giving them the honour alone and leaving out the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus the Christ. All glory belongs to Him as far as I am concerned because He rightly said in His word, 'apart from me you can do nothing' John 15:5. The man centeredness of almost every sermon today in our Churches is somewhat nauseating but glory be to God for His truth which is His greatest legacy, heaven and earth will pass away but His word is forever settled. Amen.

I love Voddie’s teachings. Unlike these pastor if not the first, the second sentence that comes out of his mouth is “turn to” or “open your bibles”. What he preaches is straight out of the Bible.

The Bible will never error. My Bible says hell has enlarged it self. Hell was not for us, but, it enlarged because of sin. Come on stop listening to false Preachers.

You raise a really great point if the funeral was held at Mike Todd’s church that church is really huge. So I don’t get WM’s critique for asking. Where is everyone at because transformation Church can’t feel all of their seats every week..

This was nothing but a publicity move. MT is not slick!

But guess what... He knows for sure at this very moment that there is a hell.

All I got from video was that bro DID NOT believe in God… and all I could think about is Hebrews 9:27… I can’t believe humans are this bold on earth. Fact that he’s no longer here man…

Y'all need help Carlton Pearson has never exemplified noting but love for people you can love people with out loving what they do as Jesus did... y'all are worse than these folk's on the streets...he never denied Jesus or the cross he just said and realized the part y'all like to leave out and that's the blood that Jesus atoned for us all...stop judging people because by the measure y'all are judging is the measured y'all are going to be done... he's free... y'all get on my nerves let's look at your life in the spotlight but y'all don't have a big platform just some judgemental people on here causing drama Carlton Pearson has never had a scandal in all the yrs he's been preaching if it were not for Carlton none of these big name preacher's would be known....so just hush and leave Mike Todd alone as well you heater's....❤ respectfully ❤❤❤

How does he explain John 14:6?

Pearson is a man of his own personal opinions and theology which is not the word of God. Be careful who you follow and listen to. Read the Bible for yourself and allow God to help you to discern his word. 🙏🏾

Hey, I get the “disagreement in perspective.” But my main concern is how heartless/vitriolic we can become, at the drop of a hat. We’ll posture ourselves as if we have a MONOPOLY on the mind of Heaven. If the totality of who/what GOD is, could be encapsulated within a single book…He would then cease to BE the kind of God we claim to surrender to. So succinctly: There’s a fine line between being God like, & deluding yourself to think you ARE God.

Michael Todd made it VERY clear in 2018 he was anti religion. Now that he believes he’s invincible he’s showing the world what he meant by that. He’s learning to master the art of deception unfortunately. Clearly he had the role models to lead the way.
