So Trina outdid herself planning out my 60th birthday. She surprised me with a couple of special guests who came from out of town to spend time with me and be a part of the party. Her goal was at least 60 people in the videos. Trina Swafford was able to get more than 60 people to give me a birthday message for my 60th birthday. On Saturday she sent me on an adventure. First I met up with Lylie who I hadn't seen in five years for us to get a pedicure and since Lylie was paying and lives over three hours away I had to get my toenails painted as well. She let me pick the color though. Trina made sure we had time to catch up with each other before my next stop and I was totally blown away when I walked in and David Morris had flown in from St. Louis. Trina talked him into coming up by guilting him that he's spent $600 on more stupid things than this. Then it was off to the next stop to introduce Dave to some of my radio family and my favorite side chick! This makes 3 years in a row for the radio folks on my birthday. Twice it was with my mom joining in before she passed away. Final stop was at The Red Door where more friends and family were waiting including my buddy Cam and wife Shannon who have their anniversary they could have been celebrating but agreed to show up for my party. The next item on the agenda was the playing of the 48 videos with more than 66 people. I'll get the video posted on my website or my KZread page so everyone can see for themselves. The surprise of some of the people that showed up and some of the things they said was the best gift ever. BobandHeather George Bobby rapped for me, Tiff read from the book I gave her years ago when it was time for her to think about marriage, Jolly St. Nick thought I was Glenn Hubbard former second baseman for the Atlanta Braves 40 years ago, a talking dog appeared, a couple of Canadian cuties showed up, Hailee tugged at my heart, I got nostalgic seeing my old partner Jill and thinking about that whore of a dog Duchess, my sister and brother, a really rude comment from one of my favorite ladies that I would have not expected anything less from, a clip of me singing karaoke and my mom crying, my first true love made an appearance, Doug from Pandora from the ocean, someone that looked just like Amy Winehouse, Diane and Chris who wasn't sure who they hell they were talking to, Tori who made me tell everyone at the party about my fat ass, Eric who mentioned our tennis games with my crazy ass brother in law from 30 some years ago, Jen and Colin may not have realized they actually sent the video, I don't know what the hell Scott was doing in his dance and song but it kept his wife from wanting to attempt anything and of course it wouldn't have been complete without wrapping up with Crazy Psychic Sheila doing what she does best. Thanks to Julia Carroll from Desert Mountain Digital for helping Trina with the video. Trina kept everything a secret even though I knew she was doing something. She did everything through Facebook so there are some of my best friends she wasn't able to get to, in particular Bradley Williams and Ralph Price aren't on Facebook so she wasn't able to get videos from them. 2 people who have the most dirt on me so that was probably for the best. A couple of people didn't get their video to Trina in time for Julia to produce so I can add theirs on a follow up video.
