Mike is so lovable but also just can't help himself enough to get out of his own way. It makes for great fodder, but you still kinda feel bad for him.

You could tell Nick wanted to do a sports show with jokes and Artie wanted to do a comedy show with some sports. I preferred Arties version.

Nick was offered the show and brought the idea of bringing in Artie. It could’ve been a great show and lasted for a long time if Nick didn’t NEED the show to be mostly sports. He’s a comedian, Artie is a comedian it was a comedy sports show. Nick hated that.
