He’s low key right. It’s the intro, chorus and sample that makes the song infectious. Absolutely no shade to the Luniz, but it is what it is.

I like this interview a lot. The part where he talks about people checking the credits to see who did what, man that was soooo me back in the nineties. We used to be into that stuff. CDs used to come with a whole sleeve of credits and other goodies. How times have changed! His voice was what gave that track the feel. And i dont think he did anything else after that. I love Mike Marshall’s voice. My moms used to jam out to “Rumors” when I was just a lil’ shorty. Hearing Mike’s voice since before I could walk! 🙏🏽

I have known Michael Marshall since 2005 when he was first starting to get things in life back together. I had known his story before I ever met him, but it was great to hear it from him. He always gave me big brother type advice and him and Jack have always looked out for me. It is great that he is getting to tell his story (HIStory) on this large of a platform. Mike Meezy is a great talent and I hope on the next parts of the interview he details his other bodies of work as a solo artist so that people can go and support the music. I salute you Mike.

Much respect to Mike Marshall !! A Bay Area legend !! He did some great hooks for a lot of songs, sad he didn`t mentioned his feature on Rumors with Father Dom.

I was 15 years old when that song came out, and yes, I knew who you were MIke. Mannn them dudes took advantage of you. Little did they know that history repeats itself and God made sure that you will live to enjoy the fruits of your labor. God wanted you to sober up and you did. He blessed you with another chance to get yourself together and you did. Now, if these rappers want a feature from you they're really going to have to pay top dollar. Congratulations Mike, you can now kick back and enjoy life from all the hard work you put in. Enjoy brother.

Awww I hate that he never got credit for his participation in this song. His voice is iconic, cause the chorus is the only thing people really sing when you hear that beat. The lyrics are dope but the chorus made it into a hit if were being honest. Glad he is still around to see the trajectory of this song 🙏🏾 thank y'all for giving him a platform to speak on his journey

Glad he got Sober and got whats owed to him! know its time become an educator of the business of music
