What a gold mine of insider knowledge about the Hong kong film industry and international cinema marketing as a whole. And I can definitely imagine a parallel universe where a "Dave Jacobus" breaks out into the Hong Kong action world and becomes one of the greatest gwailos to grave the silver screen.

Jackie was actually 68/69 years old in the movie Ride On...i'm glad he was persuaded to use the safety equipment and doubles when needed. Also, he never said he did "everything" himself but the bts showed him still doing a lot of it and dealing with a really messed up knee

He was doubled massively in a movie that's about doing your own stunts. Ride On was a massive slap in the face of his legacy. He should do Foreigner type stuff instead of CGI crap.
