Staying positive with self-talk. Super important indeed. A few weeks ago I had to do that and I credit MtnTough for that. I was able to go deer hunting again after several years. I shot a deer and needed to drag it out by myself, in the dark. It was difficult and a long distance. I told myself “You can’t quit. It’s easy. Just 10 yards at a time.”

Solid advice! Get out of the rut men: get fit, build a tribe (sharpen one another), pick up your bible, disconnect from social media. Make this your lifestyle. Thanks for being Nobly Ventured Mike! - Isaiah 32:8

I’ve been a fan of Sammy’s for 40 years wore out his Three Lock Box album yes ALBUM in freshman college in ‘83. Both had great runs with VH (RIP Eddie 🙏🏼) and equally successful IMO. Get along you top Dawgs life is short! 🎸

I started 75 hard in early spring, my life completely turned around. I was a bad alcoholic, broke, marriage of 10 years was slipping away. Went all spring and summer, did not stop at day 75. I felt incredible, life was great, wife was proud. Thats when harvest started, and im a farmer. 100 hour weeks every week i did not have the energy nor time to stay with it. I even tried for the first week. Now my life has went back to the shitter and im starting again on monday. I feel like shit but its time to fix this. For me, exercise is the greatest thing ive ever found.

Listening while at work, so I might have missed a few things about home schooling. I think Glover brings up some good stuff, but remember he’s experimenting with young kids and homeschooling. I think that’s the right time for a parent to make good on home schooling and exhibiting good behaviors for kids to mimic. High school level I think it would be really tough for parents to teach the different curriculums. It might be a consideration that things will change in Glovers mind given a few years in homeschooling. 100% on the mindset and how to be a father though. 👍

There's men in these times who haven't found a suitable partner, to start a family. Given obvious societal changes, financial risk, and the dumb expectations of many, this isn't really surprising. They have much to offer society and it should be noted that purpose can be found when someone (anyone) has found the time or resources to help others, even in small ways, even if they are not family.

Purpose. It's a wonderful sentiment. Men are not appreciated. By women, by their society, by the military. We are often not needed, and even more so we are not valued. So our porpose is lost for we don't have a mission. Sure, we can create suchj missions for ourselves, very self serving, but we really want to be needed and appeciated for what we bring to the table. And then after we have provided we don't want to be kicked to the curb. I spent my life pushing myself to provide in these areas and now I have been single for nearly a quarter century because I am not needed, wnated or appreciated. These days I write books, working to do this for myself but that is all. I create my own missions. But without any appreciation it just seems a little hollow. Just my opinion.
