I have followed Imperial Age for sometime. Like them much. The only metal band I know of with a tenor, a mezzo-soprano and a soprano.

I just found Imperial Age about 6 or 7 months ago. They are phenomenal and this song kicks a++!!!!!

They're well trained singers and gorgeous people. All they need now is a talented composer, one who dares to play with modern metal rhythms an uncouth modulations. It's 2021 now, not 1970. Oh my.. My heart bleeds if I imagine how high they could rise.

Great song by a great band... I suggest also "Turn the sun off" by them... This band recognizes THERION as their main influence and are very good friends of them... I think it would be time to react to the pioneers of this amazing genre, "Leviathan" is the new song by THerion, check it out to hear the real best metal soprano in the world, the amazing Lori Lewis... I know what you mean about the guy's voice Mike. My impression, though I'm no expert, is that he's forcing it to go lower than it's natural range.

They pop into one of my streams from time to time (one is very loaded with Prog and Symphonic metal). I don't think I'd do a full album listen through just yet, but interlaced in Ayreon and Symphony X, they work. I like the costuming angle they go for too. It's the kind of thing that, if they were not as good as they are, would be more Spinal Tap-esque And you had one with a short skirt(~_^) but no long jacket, though I bet they could use a machete to cut through red tape, but I hope they'd not be caught in a Chrysler LeBaron. (YT is mangling edits)

Greetings from Finland! Imperial Age is most likely the best internationally known symphonic metal band from Russia. I like them a lot, but the vocalists should loosen up a bit & just have fun, especially live on stage. P.S. Are you getting any closer to reacting to Fleshgod Apocalypse's acoustic version of their song "The Day We'll Be Gone" that I suggested via Patreon?
