I’m an old metal head and all my friends who have grandchildren called Let it Go their drinking song, because as soon as the grandkids left they would break out the booze. I then let them hear Floors version, they loved it , but they broke out the booze to “celebrate “a great cover Floor did. They might have a slight bigger drinking problem than I thought originally! Oh well glad I don’t have a drinking problem I don’t spill hardly any!🥴great job as always stay safe!🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘

@@Idefixu I know i said that to my mother. I think the reason is that it is disturbing/distracting. Maybe it is because a child is conditioned to pay attention to parent's voice, so singing is kind of irrelevant noise that is impossible to ignore. And yes! it feels kind of horrible to say this.

As a father of a 5 year-old girl, I totally get you Ginger. Probably saw this movie a thousand times. Here in Brazil this song actually became a joke on a TV commercial when a dad starts to sing the chorus surprising his daughter because of how many times he listened to it. Only Floor to make it listenable again. Must be great having a mother like her. I can only imagine little Freja telling her friends in the future: Hey! Look at my mother singing Let It Go!

I love this version--it's Elsa channeling Maleficent.... Floor had said that the reason she cut this is to get it out of her head, after all the times Freja insisted on watching the movie.

A song written to be sung by a queen should only be covered by a queen. Floor didn't even set out to do a "rock/metal cover" with this, just a cover. Metal is a side effect of her mere presence. Great video guys, and happy Thanksgiving from a thankful American.

This song is definitely overplayed. Floor did this for her daughter Freja, who loves this song. This Saturday another cover coming from Floor. I think either "Who Wants to Live Forever"(Queen) or maybe "Alone"(Heart). Mike is totally right. Freja tells Floor "No mom" when she starts to sing. This song may be an exception to the norm. Loved it M&G. Intro was great! Peace.

This is the song to save parents from the Disney brain wash, this version is one you actually can enjoy a few times (100 may not be possible even for Floor (LOL)). Floor recorded this as she was tired of singing this for her daughter Freya I am sure. Now we only hope the Disney suits aren't looking for her all over Sweden to record the entire soundtrack!!!! Great reaction and nice to see Ginger smile instead of cringe through the song!!!!!

I feel your pain. I have 4 nieces. Yes, Frozen has been a staple since it came out. It says in the video description that her own daughter is hooked on the movie as well. Her main motivation for covering it. Happy t day ya'll from the states.

Nice reaction! This Floor version is better than original.

Two quick notes: 1) Floor's daughter's name is of course "Freja", as everyone has noted. It is important to remember though that, the same as in Floor's last name, the "J", as in "Jansen", is pronounced "Yann-sen", so also, when you pronounce Floor's daughter's name correctly, it comes out as "FREE-yaah". Pretty cool eh? 2) MY request I sent in to Floor's webpage for a cover song, was to sing "I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas" to Freja while walking together through the forest in the snow. Can you imagine, with Floor, how beautiful that would be?

Not to be nitpicking, but it's more like "Frey-ah" or "Frey-yah". The English word "fray" is relatively close to how the first syllable of the name sounds.

Greetings from Finland & sorry to be late for this Floor party, but since Earth is not flat, time zones are a bitch. Floor decided to do this cover as her almost 4-year-old Freja daughter is also obsessed with the movie & this song as she keeps singing it herself at their home in Sweden. As a true artist, Floor always puts her own twist in everything she does. She is also a perfectionist & professional who knows the value of good equipment, which is why she uses a AKG C12 VR tube condenser microphone that costs USD 6000. P.S. Freja is one lucky girl. especially if they have "take your parents to school" day when she's old enough to go to school. Not only does she have Floor Jansen as her mom, but also Sabaton's (a great Swedish power metal band known worldwide) drummer, Hannes van Dahl, as her daddy. P.S.S. Can't you imagine Floor singing Wuthering Heights ?

At first I thought you were talking about headlights. ??? We have a saying in Finland: "Gotta go, said the louse in the heat of the sauna." For us Finns sauna is the remedy for everything. "If liquor/spirits, tar and sauna won't help, the disease is going to kill you!" That's another saying. I've never seen a louse in my life. I consider myself lucky because I wasn't too familiar with this song, before I heard this version of Floor's. She makes it better, but I'm only watching some reactions to it, there are way too many of them.

@@MikeandGinger She did that cover with her band After Forever. She also covered Who Wants to Live Forever by Queen. And of course when she was on the TV show Beste Zangers, she covered many songs including Phantom of the Opera and Shallow.

Love the new intro, although the original one was lotsa fun. I even went back to watch that first reaction to see how it all fit. I still haven't figured out what she was doing on that pole. As for this one, another really fun reaction. And for Floor... well... she's Floor.

Nice story lol. I am a young man that has never seen Frozen so I had no idea about this song. It was easier for me. I must say even when It's not what I normally listen to Floor makes it enjoyable as everything she does. What an artist.

Nice reaction, but can you please turn up the volume of the song in your videos? This song particular is so much more epic listening to when it's played loud.

As bizarre as it sounds I have NEVER heard this song before ( my kid is in her 40's). Then after hearding Floor's I heard the original the other day. My mum always told be never say anything , if you can't say something nice. So for the original Disney singer...I have no words...Also a bit unfair to the original as Floor is doing her own backing vocals!!!!!! Also a bit unfair as Floor uses little known backing singesr called Floor Jansen...

The original is the equally powerful Idina Menzel. Known for playing Maureen in the film adaptation of Rent and she was also the original Elphaba in Wicked.

Better intro. I always needed to skip through the previous one.

The problem with many "mainstream" songs that are overhyped and overplayed even if they are great they become a nuisance... So I have never seen untill this day the whole frozen movie, bits and pieces at best. One logic option is not to give in to the whining of your kids it adds more value to their education or character build to get from early childhood valuable llife lessons in a most widely context. This is how my parents did it; it's about boundaries and not spoiling your kids by giving in to their every single desire so they learn moderation, balance and awareness. I liked this version of floors and it stands out on its own and is lot less "Disney" so in my book always slightly better. Not that Disney is always "evil" or too much, they have many great things done over the last decades, the mandalorian is their current masterpiece for example. But anyway enough said.

Too much repetition can make you hate almost anything. Cheap radio stations with limited playlists playing over loudspeakers for a whole eight-hour factory shift are the worst.

By far my favourite version of this song. Only one thing bothers me, the mixing is a little weak. Her voice is too low imo. But nice reaction as allways.
