LOL, we all love Artie but he is so sad now. He was such a great story teller and was a great fit to the show but he had the drug issues and was lying all the time to Stern and the staff. They bent over backwards to keep him there. I wish him the best but he looks terrible now, I hope he can come out of it.

Dont forget Artie stepped up and did the intro to Joes 2nd show and also he wrote the foreward to his book.. Buck was on arties show multiple times after and honestly he handled it all very classy.

Artie lange was there to make the show funny, which it bombed so bad the first half they gave artie the go-ahead to do what he wanted to make shit funny. Unfortunately arties comedy aint pc and for everyone

@@rustykuntz94 artie at first lied & said he was told " to just go nuts " after the guy said he never told artie that then artie backtracked too the guy said " if it gets boring give it some energy. Arties appearance can only be described as he was drugged out of his mind. This happened in 09 ( the year stern had his hatchet man tim sabean basically fire him ) artie Kept saying at the time he was off heroin. He was so manic ^ talking so much I could tell he was on an upper. He later said in his book he was taking copious amounts of amphetamines. I really dont know how artie has lived this long. All the drugs & he was taking tons of heavy drugs for many years & he was morbidly obese. I hated when he would say that being an addict was not a disease & it was a bunch of guys that just want to get high. If that's the case why couldnt he stop ever. ? If he was getting high recreationally here & there I'd agree but the guy was taking enormous Amts if heroin or coke speed on top of tons of ambien& benzos.

It was hysterical. Before the show Joe Buck told Artie Lange, to lay into him - but I think Joe regretted it.

Artie Lange rules. Artie was the show. They should give him his own show. Artie is a greater talent than the sum of all the other talents on that dullsville show. Go Artie!

doesn't HBO have a show with real life Hookers fucking guys in Nevada? Who gives a shit about f-bombs unless your trying to do a Late Night, Tonight Show type of thing with joe buck's show.

Mike is carefully saying (as he has these network guys including Buck on the show sometimes) that Joe Buck was terrible and the show was ultra boring (which it was) but that Artie was one of the more entertaining parts of the show (he won't say it straight). U can tell Mike got a kick out of him. Bottom line is Artie Lange was funny and was far and away the best part of that show.

Are you kidding? He was on the Howard Stern show. He gets paid alot. And he does gigs all year. Plus he has a radio show. A couple dvds, a book. He lives in a huge pad on the Jersey Shore and owns an additional home inland Jersey. The guy does well.

I usually find Francesa to be long-winded, but he was point on here. Joe Buck was doing awfully before Lange came on and he lost absolute control afterwards. It's understandable that you can't always rein in your guests, but the fact that they did an aftershow with Lange rattles the mind.

When George Steinbrenner came to town, he seperated the Yankees from other teams by spending money to make money. And now the Yankees are the most successful franchise business wise and winning wise.
