When someone only responds to something they deem to be beheaded Negative it's time to part ways. Because now I have to watch my back.

Agreed. Love their work and we continue to support A2HH but the video needs editing, respectfully speaking.

I think it's funny they was going at mos and Talib for putting they album on another platform for 5$ when Mike and coop don't respond to none of their subscribers unless they pay for a superchats kind of hypocritical 🤷🏿‍♂️ 🤣🤣

Very hypocritical. They’re desperate for internet fame since they couldn’t attain real fame. Their only relevance is talking about the next man, very lame.

Yeah, when people get mad at Blackstar they rarely talk about the empowerment angle. It tends to be about the inconvenience they feel. Not saying that about A2HH.

Talib is an overly sensitive dude. I find him a solid rapper and a straight up sucka at the same time. I get the impression Mos only deals with him in doses.

Damn. Interesting take. I might agree. People seem to try to play him a lot though, either because of his politics or personal traits. Yasiin says some of the same shit, he just doesn’t go out of his way to argue with people.

I was never about that Luminary shit. Always thought it was a horrible idea. However, I’m a fan, because as soon as I heard the album was coming to bandcamp I purchased immediately. I actually paid 2 more bucks to my contribution because I’m not an asshole.

A very short dive would reveal who this brother is & isn’t. He has a long history of lashing out at people online, especially sisters. The minute he gets challenged you’re a nazi, coon etc Decreasing the value of said terms every-time he uses them. I think you guys are generous in your assessment of his current skill set. I think that album would’ve been 🔥🔥 as a Mos Def solo return. He has the weakest verse on anything he features on, old or new. Reflection Eternal was his dopest contribution to Hip Hop.

I rock with Talib as an artist. His off stage life and or persona I don’t care for. He’s stated some real off code ish in his defense of some corny politician. No shade but Talib doesn’t have the influence or rapport with the people that he thinks he does

Talib has a personality disorder, which is not a mental illness. Narcissistic personality disorder can be helped with therapy, only a narcissistic person doesn’t think they need help. To them, if something is wrong it’s your fault. They need to have all the power and control over the people in their lives and for Talib, that includes his fans, social media commenters, and anyone in his way to getting what he wants. He only wants praise from everyone, and dissenting in the slightest bit about the smallest of matters turns people who have been his fans for a long time into the enemy. If you criticize him, it’s because he’s black, so immediately you’re a card carrying member of the KKK, even if that criticism is about his character. It works that way no matter what color of skin you happen to have. He’s so narcissistic that he tosses the “n word from Germany” so freely and doesn’t even recognize that’s he’s the biggest “n word from Germany” online the way he polices his social media comments. But the absolute worst part about it is that he’s brainwashed many of his fans into actually believing that he’s fighting racism online. They will believe anything he says and attack anyone he declares to be the enemy just because he doesn’t like what they said so he labels them “n word from Germany”. He’s not fighting anything but himself. Where sensible people would just move on, Talib MUST destroy the enemy at any price. He doesn’t care if his cult followers use racism, ageism, ableism, etc., as long as the enemy is annihilated. The “conscious rapper” has absolutely no conscious. Also, if that man is “well read”, then why are his social media comments so redundant and ridiculous? Just because he owns a bookstore doesn’t mean he’s well read. Just because he’s gone to good schools doesn’t mean he’s smart. His online rhetoric is enough proof that he is indeed the very opposite of intellectual.

I've always said that I never liked him as an MC, there's something about his voice & delivery & subject matter that seems fake. He acts like he represents the poor black man & he's righteous & not about the money but everything he does is about the money. The message he portrays seems contradictory & blurred like he's all about the soul & uplifting black people but give me the money first
