If we are talking about memorable bars and punches how did the whole culture ignore Joe Budden's "Making of A Murderer"? Ether shifted the culture. Tou had to be outside. When Beans said "Nas hit Jay with a body shot" on radio it was insane. The way they downplay 2nd Round Knockout is problematic. The most memorable line is "99% of your fans wear high heels". The way it is framed is dependant on sales and popularity, not bars.

@@hoodcounselor I wouldn't argue that, but the point that I am making ultimately is what Joe did was undress Drake in a way that clearly was followed by Pusha T. Joe's 4 pack (crazy) absolutely attacked ever angle with all of the elements these two consistently speak of except the one that they often speak about obtusely: impact. What they do not address is how impact is related to marketing, cultural bias, and forced narratives. When constantly speaking of numbers, while ignoring bias we create the issues that we complain about. A perfect example is how Coop downplays Canibus' diss. It is absolutely tied to LL's fame. For those who were outside (I am a bit older than Coop and Mike) when it hit we all know that Canibus absolutely had the better diss, and it was earth shattering. Coop conveniently says the Biggie line was the most memorable in order to make the diss fit his argument. Everyone who is honest must admit the most memorable line is "99% of your fans wear high-heels." Which was a nuclear bomb, because that is exactly why LL is often not respected as he should be in hip-Hop. He is often looked as doing his number because of sex appeal instead of upper tier lyricism.
